Arrived in box and alls you had to do was pull up shelves and put a couple screws in the top. I am 61 and had no problem putting it together itself. The color was nice, it is very sturdy and looks great in my kitchen. I get lots of compliments on it.
It's a bit smaller than I expected, but that's my fault for not reading the dimensions more closely. Relatively sturdy and easy to put together. However, the top shelves aren't all that useful without buying some glass. The metal bares are round, slippery, and spaced a little too far apart to be very useful. Also, they aren't braced in the middle, so they won't hold anything very heavy.
The piece is made fairly well although some of the shelves are a little difficult to put together. The top piece is a little beveled, but not enough to cause things to fall off. It looks nice and holds my clothes. It's good enough for me.
I was watching this Bakers Rack for several weeks for the best price on O.co and a couple other websites. I really loved it the first time I saw it! I recently downsized to a small condo due to retiring and have a small kitchen with only a few cabinets for storage. This was the perfect solution to show off my collection of red pots, pans, and small appliances. It is very sturdy and well made. It basically unfolds except for the top shelf. That even slides in fairly easy and with just 2 screws and nuts as the hinge you are done. I did it by myself in about 5-10 minutes. It looks beautiful and holds everything I needed.
