I chose these sheer panels, as I'm redecorating our master bedroom in soft white and gray hues. I've been wanting to try tonal decorating and realized that a big key to success is choosing items with different textures. Our fabric shades are a pale gray, so I initially decided to pair them with a solid white linen-style panel. However, I stumbled upon these beautiful embroidered sheers and on a whim, decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! Upon opening the package, I was a bit disappointed that the fabric wasn't very soft. However, I quickly realized that the stiffness of the fabric made for a more structured sheer when hanging. While there's a place for a soft, drapey look, our room is on the smaller side for a master bedroom with average height ceilings. The structure of the sheers gives a sharp, finished appearance and the panels hang beautifully on the Pinnacle Barricade Adjustable Energy Saving Wraparound Curtain Rod that I also purchased from Overstock. The texture achieved by the beautiful embroidery is everything I could have hoped for and adds lovely interest to my otherwise simple windows. If you're in the market for a unique sheer, I highly recommend these panels!
I am delighted with these sheers they are just perfect. The bring a lovely airy elegance to the window and room. I’ve included a picture. The order came quickly the whole process was so easy. I highly recommend these sheers, I can’t imagine you will find anything better at this price.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the double wide width! I have a huge patio slider flanked by 2 sidelights and the total for all three is 144"! It's been such a pain trying to find coverings for them and it's an even bigger pain that my husband "doesn't want to block the light; but I want to cover the window but I like it open but I want it to look finished". Ayayyay! When we upgraded our TV to a curved one and he saw how bad the glare from the window would be agreed we had to do something. I convinced him the combination of thick faux silk drapes (also from Overstock!!!) and these underneath would finish the window off without compromising the light but also cutting down (these alone don't eliminate it but it's 10x better) the glare. The double layer adds to the privacy (that wasn't a concern of ours; there are no neighbors to the back) so if you're looking for the best sheers for that these are it. I tried to get photos of the whole window without a flash so you can see the opacity of them. Them being extra wide was a big plus because I didn't want the split of multiple panels.
