I wanted a sheer curtain to go behind my blackout curtains in my bedroom. These fit the bill perfectly. Let’s the light in while also providing the beautiful look of a good sheer.
If the intent is to have light still filtering in, these are beautiful. The designed embroidery pattern makes it even more beautiful silhouetted by the light from outside. It does not provide privacy unless you get enough panels to bunch up to diffuse what you see from the outside looking in, especially at night. I did add a cheap sheer voile behind it to double the layer and it created the privacy I needed for evenings so I wouldn't need to draw the curtains or drop my woven blinds every night. It is well made, hangs beautifully, minimal wrinkles easily removed with a hand steamer. Perfect for layering with a stationary panel like silk. It looks more expensive than it is. I also purchased it when it was on sale. I bought 8 panels. I will buy two more for sliding door, doubled with the cheaper voile to create the semi sheer effect for nighttime privacy from the road. Highly recommend!
Madison Park curtains are my favorite brand. Curtains hang very well and the fabric is lightweight & airy, but not as light as a sheer curtain. Works best with a sheer panel underneath.
These are perfect sheer curtains for a bedroom when framed by other curtains. I have faux silk drapes as the framing curtains with these underneath in the master bedroom, and the look is very elegant. The double width gives me beautiful draping, and I purchased 2 panels for a 100 inch window.
