This Shark Pet Perfect II Handvac was reported on a local news station in my Area. The station has a "consumer" segment from time-to-time and reports on products recommended by Consumers' Report. I was not looking for a hand vacuum at the time. However, I have a cat and the cleaning of cat hair is constant. Based on the research findings for the vacuum, I thought I would give it a chance; I'm glad I did. It has good suction power, it's light, and easy to use. It comes a charger and attachments for general use, furniture, and dusting. Cleaning the filter is easy. I recommend it.

I love this vacuum; it works great, however, it dies after only about 10 minutes of use (with a full charge!). I would love for it to have the ability to be used while plugged in so that the charge would last long enough for me to vacuum fully before it dies.

I purchased this cordless handvac to pick up my dogs hair in my car. It works better than I thought it would. The hair on the floor mats get picked up with the revolving brush piece with ease. The mats actually look new and freshly brushed. I am very happy with this cordless handvac.

We have purchased at least 3 battery operated handheld vacuums in my 41 years of marriage and this is the first we plan to keep. Has good vacuum power that has allowed me to go through the whole house and remove spider webs on one charge. I have been able to vacuum my chevy truck and car on one charge as well. Some did not like the battery time but, this unit is better than any other that we have tried.

This is the best vacuum for cleaning up pet hair from furniture. It is very powerful and the beater brush head works great at removing the pet hair from the furniture.

Perfect for pet hair and battery lasts

This is the best little handheld vacuum I've ever had! I liked this Shark so much that I bought a Shark Rocket vacuum too. The only warning I have is to make sure you charge it fully, then unplug the charging base until you need to charge it again. Otherwise you will ruin the battery, like I did within the first year. And a replacement battery costs as much as a new unit.

I have been looking to purchase a new cordless handvac and I have always end up purchasing the Shark Pet Cordless Vac and this updated one is even better, more suction, picks up everything and they last

The suction power in such a little vacuum is surprising. I have 9 dogs and two cats. The hair build up is quite a hassle to keep under control. We go threw many Pet Vacuum's. This one has great suction and was great at pick up and suction I like it. The battery has a short charge capacity but does not really take away from the main features that make this Shark Pet Vacuum a great buy. I would most definitely recommend this Shark Pet Vacuum.

Battery doesn't last long

The battery doesn't work for a super long time. But I primarily use it to do the carpet treads on the stairs. It comes with a second attachment which is great for getting into the little spaces around the treads. And the brush attachment fluffs up the carpet.

Ideal for pet hair on furniture, clothing, in the car or anywhere you would find pet hair. Holds a charge and the attachments including the power head are well engineered and very functional. Ideal for car or motor home. Would recommend

This vacuum has great suction but the filter plugs extremely quickly when cleaning things like furniture, mattress, cat bed etc. nothing collects in the cup, it just sucks up to the filter and it plugs. It should have a baffle system. Next, the units motor burned out in a very "short" time. I don't think I used it more than 20 times and I was cleaning the exterior grill of my large Hepa filter and It simply quit, kaput, nada and I could smell that melting wire odor. Junk. Shark customer service did respond very well and offered to replace the unit and pay shipping both ways. However, I hated the machine so I haven't bothered to ship it yet...The closest FedEx package drop is at the main location which is 45 minutes away. The box would be to large to drop it in a FedEx mailbox. Anyway, I purchased the new Hoover with the power head and it works much better regarding the filter plugging, I can actually clean the whole couch without stopping 5 times to clean the fine dust off the filter and the battery lasts forever. much better machine. There are a lot of reviews on this unit regarding very short life on this sight as well as the large retailers.

This is the perfect cordless vacuum for anyone with pets! I can use this to clean up small messes, window seals, and even between the seats in my car without pulling out our giant vacuum cleaner! The pet hair attachment is amazing!!!

I have both a Dyson animal and a Shark full size vac. With 3 cats, 2 large dogs and 2500 sq. ft. to clean I am always looking for ways to make my life easier. Enter the Shark Handvac. What a remarkable machine. I no longer have to drag out my large vacuums to clean up crumbs on the kitchen floor or "dust bunnies" that gather in my bathroom. This vac has unbelievable suction and a long battery life. It also comes with the power head that picks up pet fur on furniture. I was absolutely amazed that all the fur was cleaned up. This little machine is a real time saver. The price was reasonable and besides what price can you put on extra time. I highly recommend this vacuum even if you don't have pets.

Needed a handheld for stairs and smaller areas I could quickly vacuum. Comes with 3 attachments and they all work great. One thing I was concerned about was the battery charge, but one review I read made sense to fully charge before using and do not charge it until the charge runs out. I have been doing that and it has worked great! Comfortable to hold (soft handle) and picks up pet hair great (with the pet hair attachment). Love that it comes with a charging holder that holds the attachments as well.

Love this vacuum! I have a long haired Ragdoll cat and this is perfect for keeping my couches cat hair free. It charged up quickly when I first got it and holds its charge beautifully. It’s never run out of power while I’m using it.

We have 4 Huskies and they shed a lot. When my upstairs dust buster died I replaced it with the Shark Pet Perfect. I have one downstairs and use it all the time. It holds a charge for along time.

My family has a bigger vacuum for the house but I needed one for the room I keep my cat liter, food and cat tree/beds. I have 3 cats who shed quite a bit. This vacuum is perfect for short term use (about ten minutes). The attachments included allow me to easily vacuum up cat liter and food. The carpet attachment is extremely to use. Though the carpet attachment tends to accumulate hair, I have used a scissor or exacto knife to easily remove the accumulated hair. I would highly recommend this product. I have used it to clean my car as well.
