We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1040 squ. ft. home. It has hardwood floors in the living room and master bedroom, linoleum in the kitchen and baths, and short pile carpet in the other 2 bedrooms. There are also a few throw rugs. We have had other cordless stick vacs that worked just OK for a short while. Couldn't do the whole house on single charge and didn't really pick up that well and had a small dirt container capacity. So, mainly used just for quick pick-ups. I had purchased 2 of these Shark cordless vacs as gifts for my daughters for Christmas. They loved them so much that I thought, well, what the heck, I'll get one for our house and give it a go. Following the recommended initial usage instructions, giving it an initial full charge, I set to work on cleaning the house. Used low setting for the hardwood and linoleum floors, and high setting for carpeted bedrooms. It did a great job and the battery lasted almost through the last bedroom. This was the first use, though, and after 4 or 5 usages until the battery was drained and it stopped (as mentioned in the manual), it now does all the house before running out of battery. It's interesting to note that on low setting, if you go to a pile throw rug or carpet, it senses the additional friction on the brush, and the vac actually kicks up the speed of the roller brush! That really surprised me! Also, the LED lights are positioned such that they show every piece of dirt and lint in front of the head. The lights work so well that I don't turn on the house lights when vacuuming. The only thing the Shark Cordless seems to have a problem with is picking up the occasional piece of my wife's fine, black hair from the linoleum on low speed. Might be because of the static from the hair to the linoleum. But, I just kick up the vac to high speed for a moment, and up comes the hair. Also, beware when using on throw rugs not to get the edge of the rug caught up the roller brush! Bottom line is that this is one impressive cordless vac at this price point. It cleans everything as promised. The dust bin holds a lot before having to empty, and the bin is so easy to remove and empty. Just hope it lasts well beyond warranty.

Shark SV1112 Rotator Freestyle Pro Cordless Vacuum - We got this cordless vacuum to keep in our new master bedroom carpet. It holds the charge well and it has nice suction.

I love my new shark rotator freestyle pro cordless. I highly recommend for anyone. This shark is very easy to use either on hard or carpeted floors.

I have 2 other Shark vacs and love them. This one is smaller and cordless so good for our second floor. I charged the battery for 24 hours and I'm amazed how long it lasted. It does NOT have a short battery span. I was able to do my 1st floor completely. The suction power is also very good considering its cordless. Thinking of getting this for my parents as it is so light and SO easy to use. Definitely would recommend this!

I am obsessed with this vacuum. I have one and purchased two more as Christmas presents for ppl that I love. :) This vacuum is so easy to use and at first I didn't think that the lights would be helpful, but now I wouldn't buy the version w/o lights! You can see every little crumb and can vacuum in the dark! I love not having to plug it in so that I can use it all over my house at one time. This is by far my favorite and most used household appliance.

Vacuum works as expected. Works nicely between my hardwood floors and low pile area rug. Battery latts long enough to vacuum about 1500 square feet just fine. The lights on the front are nice to see all the extra dirt on wood floors it is picking up

Light weight and very easy to handle this is my 2nd Shark but my 1st cordless . For the price this is a good investment does lack suction as compare to my corded shark. I love being able to move the cordless around freely. Having a three level home I use this as my basement vacuum no more having to tugging my other Shark up and downstairs.

After much deliberation, I decided to try this Shark. I have a big old bagless vac downstairs and wanted something for upstairs so I don't have to lug the old one up and down. Well, I didn't think it was possible to love a vaccum cleaner, but I love this little Shark! It's definitely smaller than I expected, measuring only 9" in circumference around the middle of the unit. The widest part of the head measures 11" across and from the floor to the top of the handle is about 46". Being 5'9", I really appreciate that this Shark is tall enough for me to use comfortably. I use it on medium pile carpeting, and a tiled bathroom with a litter box, where it performs quite well. This little thing really picks up on the carpet though, where it excels! It even leaves those satisfying vacuum cleaner lines that my mom loves so much. lol The only downside is that the dirt cup is pretty small and got filled quickly with dust and cat hair. But with more frequent vacuuming, this will soon become less of an issue. I've started using this Shark exclusively and am ready to throw the big dusty corded vac out. It's easy to maneuver on the stairs and in small spaces. The headlights are more useful than I imagined and the charging base is so darn cool! It would be perfect if it had a light on it too so you could see easier when putting the Shark back on it. Overall, I am very pleased with this vacuum. I considered a model with the hose, and that definitely is a helpful tool. This would be a great vacuum for a kids room too, as it is not so heavy that they can't use it, and it's pretty fun so they would actually use it!

Powerful cordless vacuum.

Just received it and so far I'm happy! It arrived very quickly too! The color is more vibrant and classier than the picture showed. Shark has been one of the best vacuum cleaners for me. You can't beat the suction power and the durability of this company and its products!!

WOW! This little vacuum has blown me away! I vacuumed my carpeting with my $250 and then went over it again with the Shark Rotator and it picked up even MORE dirt and pet hair. Very impressed with this light weight, easy to maneuver, cordless vacuum! Highly recommend!

Love it is so easy to clean and is portable

so far so good. it works better on rugs than on hardwood floors, but for both the "headlights" are very useful. very easy to empty the dust bin and wash the filter , just have scissors around to free the bottom from hairs and dust...

LIVING IN FLORIDA AND ON THE BEACH MY DOG AND I TRACK IN A TON OF SAND DAILY AND MY BIG VACUUM IS JUST TO MUCH TO BIG FOR DRAGGING OUT 3 AND 4 TIMES A DAY. I DECIDED ON THE Shark SV1112 Rotator Freestyle Pro Cordless Vacuum, AND VERY IMPRESSED IT PICKS UP EVERY BIT OF SAND, IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT (I AM A DISABLED VETERAN FOR MY BACK) AND I WAS ABLE TO LIFT IT OVER THE BACK OF MY SOFA AND PICKED UP SAND AND PET HAIR. I’m replacing a five year old shark cordless vacuum. I love my new Shark Cordless vacuum. The light as you vacuum is great. I see the dust as I vacuum it up. I would recommend this to everyone. I have hardwood floors,ceramic tiles and carpeting.

I just love this vacuum. I purchased it because it is light-weight and easy to steer. I charge it once and let it do its thing. When the battery runs out, I recharge. I am very happy with Shark products, and this one is perfect for my needs!

Love it! Very powerful and vacuums well, leaves Carpet beautifully clean looking. Lightweight snd easy to carry around the house an on stairs. Light on bottom makes it easy to spot dust in dark places such as under the couch. Easy to empty out the dirt and no vacuum bag is needed. Happy with my purchase!

This item was purchased to replace a similar model that we've had for 7 years. It works well and will hopefully be the same quality as the one we previously owned. The only issues we have are related to design changes. The power switch gets bumped by furniture and switches carpet/hard mode or turns off and the hand-hold area is located too close to the dust cup release. It cleans well and has a long battery life.
