Shark SV1106 Navigator Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum

I PURCHASED THIS VACUUM AS IT WAS ADVERTISED AS SHARK SV1106. I WAS SHIPPED A SHARK SV1106N WHICH IS A DIFFERENT MODEL. HAVING OWNED A SV1106 I LIKED IT AND NEEDED ANOTHER ONE. OVERSTOCK EVEN ANSWERED A QUESTION ABOUT THE MODEL NUMBER AND SAID THEY HAD NO SV1106N MACHINES IN STOCK. NO WHERE DOES IT MENTION THIS IS A DIFFERENT MACHINE WITH A SMALLER BATTERY AND LESS POWER. I A VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OVERSTOCK FOR THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I CAN SAY THAT THIS MACHINE DOES NOT PICK UP AS WELL AS MY SHARK SV1106 BUT ONLY TIME WILL TELL ABOUT THE DURABILITY.

I have animals in the house. I have tile floors and hard woods. Carpet in 2 bedrooms.. I orginally purchased to use in the kitchen and living room.. I have found that the suction is great on carpets too. So convenient to grab and go.. no struggle with electric cords. The battery life is great too . I can use all over with single charge .. 1800 Sq foot.. great suction!!! Works better than my old big vacuum! !

I bought this vacuum after seeing my sister in Florida using hers. We both hate bulky heavy vacuums and this one only weighs 7 lbs. and does floors and rugs. I will admit it doesn't have the lifting and strong power of my large vacuum (which I ofcorse still have) but this is just the thing for my more often cleaning. It also travels up and down the stairs easy. I like the weight, design and overall everything about it. I got a great deal but have noticed there was only one at the price I paid. Too bad. Still a great buy.

I have no other standard by which to check my Shark Cordless Vacuum. Reason: I've only used Shark anything for vacuuming so I may be biased. This cordless works wonderfully without dragging around a cord. It is effective in its performance, (make sure it's properly charged as suggested by the manufacturer). All you need is an outlet in a safe area to charge the vacuum; it stands upright in the battery charger. I charged mine overnight when I first received it and have not had any issues with it loosing suction or it notworking well, just replace in charger when you're finished using it. I keep mine on the charger. If you have animals indoor, I have a cat and its great on picking up the cat furs, it pulls the fur away with great suction. For such a small, light-weight vacuum it has the power of, or is comparable to the plug in Shark Lift-Away. It also works on bare floors; I use it on everything. My daughters love it...if you know kids, it perfect, just grab and go. I love, love, love my Shark Cordless and would recommend it to anyone in need of a fast and easy picker upper. Oh! did I mention cleaning the around the cat litter box, I cringe each time I have to clean the left-off from the cat's paw coming from the cat litter box. With the Cordless, no problem, two swipes and its over. I'm a fanatic with cleaning so this really is a life saver, oophs! I mean cleaner's savior.

I have been searching for a nice cordless vacuum for a long time. This one exceeds my expectations so far. I have all tile, laminate and some area rugs and this works awesome on all. It can clean my whole house twice on one charge, but I do only have 800 square feet. It is light weight, has a swivel head and holds a lot before it needs to be dumped. Also so so easy to dumb the trap out. Just push a button on the bottom of the pull out tank and it falls out into the trash. I really can't say anything bad about this and the price is awesome too!! Also I have a dog and 2 cats and it picks up their hair out of the area rugs really well.

Amazing Machine! I have hardwood floors and bought this to go with my new area carpet. However, I find that I use this machine daily!!! I have a Golden Retriever and a shepherd mix. Along with 2 kittens who chase hair and who knows whatever. Add this to living in the South with fans constantly going, you have an ongoing fight with hair that you give up sometimes on. However, with this machine, I vacuum the ENTIRE house, carpet (in two rooms, one floor, and one area rug) Every single day. It sucks up the hair easily, instead of the fans moving it away from the dust pile. I end up emptying the canister 2-3 times. I have a 1768 sq foot house, so this is a huge deal for me. I have found on cleaning days, when I use the hard floor side more, I need to rest it in the cradle between times to help recharge it. But for my daily vacuums, it handles the entire house nicely. I do end up cleaning the foam filter once a week if not more, but it is simple to rinse it out and be done. I also, since I do have pets, use peppermint oil in the filter to help with fleas. And with the brush action, I do check it once in a while to make sure it is still turning. The brush helps with the floors as well. I also Quilt, and have foot pedals around that I am vacuuming around, and the wires are not being sucked up, but the hair around them do. All in all, I highly recommend this to anyone!

Shark SV1106 Navigator Cordless upright vacuum works beautifully! It is very lightweight and picks up dirt like a heavier vacuum. Shark makes great vacuums.

I was SO excited when I saw this Bagless, Cordless, and Lightweight vacuum. I own 600 square feet in my condo, so this was not too bulky or big to be maneuvering around my small space. I was so happy for about the first month when I received it. Now, I realize it was a HUGE mistake. The item description says "Extended run time ensures spaces to clean will run out before the power does" which means it will last about 15 minutes.... 600 square feet isn't much room but 15 MINUTES?! I wish I could clean my entire condo in that time but unfortunately the power ALWAYS runs out so I have to charge it half way through my clean. I usually leave the vacuum charging throughout the day so I can come home and vacuum... but it will still only last 15 minutes (if that!). The blue light that turns on when its in carpet mode is also broken already. Just a poorly made vacuum overall and I am NOT impressed with this company and will never buy from them again!

It's been a month and I LOVE this. I bought white. It is versatile can get into tight spaces does stairs and corners although NOT right corners. Battery last a long time. Very happy. It looks great.... clean and modern. Easy to use holds charge. Does floors and carpet and throw rugs well. Easy to clean the filters I just soak them in a bucket with dawn detergent. It's easy to clean the bagless canister and what's great is I can wash it in the sink. I'm so far extremely pleased. It's a great price and easy to maneuver not heavy !!

I purchased this vacuum for my upstairs bedrooms so my children could use it. I allowed it to charge overnight before using it for the first time, I was disappointed with the quality, based on the reviews I read I expected more. I have a Dyson downstairs so I may be spoiled. The charge didn't hold long, I was able to vacuum 2 of the 3 bedrooms and had to recharge. I am returning this product. My canister Dyson is 10 years old and 100% better than this vacuum, if I kept this I would have to replace it in a year than again and again, I'd rather spend the extra $250 once on a quality product I will be happy with for 10+ years.

I've bought probably 4 or 5 other cordless vacuums promising to work properly. This vacuum actually does work. i have 2 dogs and they shed alot. I've had this unit for about a year now and use it EVERY night to make a quick run thru the house. It has NEVER failed to do all it promised. Well worth 100 bucks....

The convenience and use of this vac is great. It charges quickly and goes anywhere. Unfortunately the suction is not all it should be, and in a couple of weeks it just runs over the stuff to be vacuumed and at best spits it out the back end. The beaters work great but the suction just doesn't last.

I have bought cordless vacs before, and love not having to drag a cord along. This Shark vacuum does as good a job as any of the corded ones I have owned.

vacuum has not worked since purchase still waiting on part way to long to wait battery is back ordered can not believe there r no batteries in stock since this item is still being manufactured and sold

Finally someone came up with a rechargeable vacuum cleaner that really works!! It is not an exaggeration to say I have been looking for something like this for many years. I have tried different brands even an Electrolux rechargeable only to be disappointed. Not so with this shark. It picks up very well especially on hard floors. It picks up things I never though a rechargable would and does nearly as good a job as my whole house vacuum on the hard floors. I have dogs in the house and it cleans up after them very well! The design is good and it is super easy to empty out when needed. I would buy this vacuum again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I love this vacuum! I needed a great vacuum for pet hair and this works great. I highly recommend to anyone in need of a new vacuum at a great cost. Best part is no cord!!

Good vacuum. Really useful on lots of surfaces. I have hardwoods, area rugs, etc. Easily recharged too. Nice to have something so convenient standing ready.

I ordered this sweeper for my teenage kids to use, since it is lightweight and battery powered. It worked so well that I use it all over the house too!

Can I say how much I love this Vacuum! My 3 year old kept unraveling my corded vacuum each time I wrapped it and as you can imagine it began to drive me crazy! So I thought I would find a good wireless vacuum which I did! Its very durable and easy to carry from room to room. I charge it at night to be ready for my day of messes!

I've been using these for years now. Keep one on each floor of the house.

Great vacuum cleaner. It has powerful suction but works well on both our low pile wool area rugs and hardwood floors. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The battery lasts just fine for us to vacuum the whole apartment.

Bought this for my daughter. Works great! I love Shark Vacuums so when I saw a cordless Shark it's exactly what my clumsy child needs. She said it does not need charging very often since the charge lasts for a long time.

I love my vacuum cleaner! It has no cords which is even better!
