I've never been so unhappy with a purchase. I hate this couch. First, it is cheap and poor quality. The arms are stuck on with VELCRO. That means, every time you brush against them you hear the "vrrrrip" sound of velcro. Tacky! Also, it comes in pieces that you must put together. It does say "assembly required" but that generally means attaching the feet. This item required the back to be attached to the seats by sliding pieces together and the arms to be attached with velcro. That is not at all quality construction. Second, it is ugly. It's not a smooth chenille as one might imagine. It is ribbed, more like corduroy. The ribs are widely spaced so the couch looks more striped with black. It's cheap, ugly, and tacky looking and it leaves deep lines on your skin. Finally, it's not comfortable, especially when you don't want to hear the embarassingly tacky velcro sound or have lines all over your body. I wish I would have called the movers back the MOMENT I opened the box. There's a reason the word tacky has been used so many times in this review. Trust me, don't buy this couch.
