Safavieh Outdoor Living Mopani Ash Grey Acacia Wood Adirondack Ottoman

We purchased the Safavieh Outdoor Living Hantom Adirondack Ash Grey Acacia Wood Bench and two of the Safavieh Outdoor Living Mopani Ash Grey Acacia Wood Adirondack Ottomans in late July of 2015. To care for this acacia outdoor furniture, we treated the set [using recommended oil and sealant products and procedures for acacia wood outdoor furniture] before positioning it under the roof of our deck to minimize its exposure to direct sunlight [another recommendation to minimize damage from ultraviolet rays]. Throughout August and September, we kept the set free from standing water, removed food and debris [again using recommended products and procedures], and covered the set with vinyl furniture coverings each night. As signs of deterioration became visible [i.e., bench arms and several slats in the bench and ottomans began to warp and crack], we again used recommended products and procedures to minimize ongoing damage. Finally, and as recommended, we stored the set in a temperature-controlled storage unit once the summer ended. Being optimists, we followed these same steps for the full summer of 2016. Unfortunately, the deterioration continued, and, by the end of that summer, the set was no longer functional for seating comfortably or safely. Thus, after approximately 5 months of use, it became an ornamental fixture in our garden [where it remains] and we purchased other seating for the summer of 2017 which has held up without problems. In short, a beautiful set that we wished served its purpose for at least a few summers. Unfortunately, for us, this was not the case. We hope this is useful to potential buyers SRD/Anthony R

Solid, SUPER easy to assemble. Lovely and fits perfectly with the Adirondack chair. Bought two of each (chair / ottoman) and am picky re: quality - these are great!
