Although the table is large, it feels more airy due to the height and the openness of the base. It seems to be very durable (don't have to worry about rings on the wood). The wood is a grayish color and the frame is a very dark bronze color. I would recommend this item!

Lovely. It is not clear from the picture that the coffee table is much higher than an ordinary coffee table. It works for us, but for most average modern couches, it's a bit high. We'll put some things underneath to break the plane, but it looks more like a low table. Other comments were helpful (it's a light color, etc.).
The table looks great and is very nice. However the dimensions listed on the web page are incorrect. It is 27in wide, not 18. Turns out the size still looks good, but that could definitely be an issue.
