Safavieh Madison Stella Vintage Boho Oriental Rug

I am very pleased with the quality and color of the Safavieh Madison Vintage Navy rug! It arrived with no odor as other reviews reported and was very easy to smooth out all the wrinkles from shipping. The pattern of the rug has a bit of an hombre look with lighter and darker areas on each end and side. The main colors are navy, grey and white. This appears to be a very durable rug for traffic areas. I used a foam carpet pad underneath to give it more cushion and I have not had any issues with it sliding on my hardwood floors.

My order arrived faster than expected which is great! I have to say the colors are very true to the online photos and the dimensions and thickness are accurate per the description. We're using this rug under our dining room table - adjacent to our living room rug. The subtle pattern in the Safavieh Madison Vintage rug coordinates perfectly with our living room rug, which has a stronger pattern. The navy, grey, ivory tones give our décor the fresh look we were looking for.

This was the first time we have purchased anything from Overstock and my husband and I were more than pleased. This rug was not only exactly what we wanted but it is exactly as pictured and we absolutely love it! I am already trying to figure out where I can place more rugs in my home so that I can purchase another one. Our rug was delivered very quickly and when laid on the ground it laid flat within a few days. You can see the edges are a little flipped up in the photo but that relaxed in a couple days. We did not purchase anything to go under the rug to keep it from moving or being non-slip, and I don’t think we will need to due to the size. In the photo you can see we have light gray tile, dark charcoal gray couch and our furniture is a dark espresso color.

The rugs arrived today and they are perfect! I love the colors and they work really well with the Safavieh Madison Belle Paisley Boho Glam Cream/Light Grey rug being close to each other which was my plan. The quality is good and the price excellent!

I've had my eye on this rug for months and finally ordered it. I'm so glad I did!! It has a royal/navy blue color mixed with a offwhite/gray. The design goes with most styles whether your transitional, modern farmhouse or traditional. It's not too thick so you can roll a chair or ottoman on it. It rolled out nicely and flattened out overnight. I like to change my rugs out seasonally, but this will be my anytime rug. Love it and highly recommend.

This rug had an amazing color and quality. The navy in the rug worked perfectly as an addition to our sports theme room. The floors are tiled and needed some padding for a 4 year old. This rug also was thick enough to not require a rug pad. Looks and feels great. I would highly recommend. The colors of rug in picture are a true representation of rug. Even more beautiful in person. Great quality at,a reasonable price.

I love this rug! The colors are good and pull together our open gray kitchen with our blue bar stools and blue and gray den. The quality and colors are great. Prior to a recent renovation, we'd had Safavieh rugs for 15 years that were still in great shape, despite 2 (now teenage) boys and 2 dogs. We changed colors and styles, so we gave the rug and runner away to a very happy recipient.

It’s always a gamble ordering online so I worried I wouldn’t like it, but it is as I’d hoped. I was most concerned about color. It is a navy/cream design in the center, with grey and then teal specks blending in at the end. I worried the teal would be too much. I like tone-on-tone subtlety and so ordering multicolored patterns intimidates me. But these two colors are subtle and add depth to the design. If I want to draw attention to the teal I would need to use teal accents close to the ends where the teal is. I don’t want to do that and I don’t think most will even notice...except my mom. She catches everything. 😉 It’s not a plush “sink-your-toes-into-it” luxurious texture like shag rugs, but it is soft to the feet. It’s not thick but probably a half-inch profile. I used a mat under the rug and may add one more layer for extra oomph. Now I gotta do something about my worn beige couch and chair...I may dabble at dying my couch and sewing a slipcover for my chair. Or maybe I’ll just get some throw pillows and blankets and call it a day.

We really like our Safavieh Madison rug. It adds a good amount of color to the room. The intensity of the color is perfect, not too faded, but not overwhelming. With the variation of creams and grays added, the rug blends with the other blues in my room, even though it isn't the exact shade. It's done well standing up to my six kids - it still looks as good as it did when we bought it about a year ago.

Beautiful rug! The coloring is a bit more cobalt-blue rather than navy, in my opinion, but it is still gorgeous. I added a close-up photo so you can see the turquoise, grey and cream colors as well. It lays flat quite nicely; we layed it upside-down for a couple hours while we were at dinner and then flipped it upwards after. Love it!

Gorgeous muted pattern gives a "Monet" painting vibe. Soothing and calming but edgy.

not as pictured the center of the rug was almost white - very dissappointed too much to return - you need to get your photos better Overstock

Absolutely love this rug! Rich, vibrant navy blue with beautiful, greys, silver, cream and a lighter blue interspersed within the pattern. Our living area is high traffic, and we also have a German Shepherd, so this pattern and these colors should help hide stains well. I paired the rug with a plush rug pad also from Overstock and couldn't be happier!

Love this area rug and it is exactly what I expected color-wise. We ordered the 9’x12’ rug and it cost only *** was delivered in five days, and is worth every penny. The rug is thin so if you want plush get a comfy rug pad for underneath. The middle portion of the rug has navy, cream and gray, and the colors change to navy, gray, aqua and just a little cream towards the ends.

This is a beautiful rug with colors that pop out depending on the environment. Just. A word of caution depending on the lighting and photo size the rug may appear more grayish than blue. We moved it to room with blue drapes and it looks amazing.

First of all, I want to agree with all those who mentioned that this is not a true navy. I'd consider it more of a dark Royal with teal mixed in. Thankfully, this is fine for our decor. I love the pattern and the quality seems very nice for a thinner rug. The center of the rug is very light. Almost an ivory vs a silver. This also wasn't a huge problem but I would have preferred a true silver. I ended up having to return the first rug they sent because it had what appeared to be animal feces on it. The new rug was "expedited" to me. It actually took longer to get the second rug, but the replace was in good condition. Shipping the original rug back was kind of a pain and ended up costing me more money because I had to get plastic to wrap it back up for return. All said, I am happy with the new rug. I will probably order from Overstock again bit I'll definitely think twice and explore other options.

This rug was awesome. The only issue o found was that the blue in the picture differed from the actual product. The coloring was much lighter on actual rug. Overall good purchase

This is so nice, exactas like in the pictures!!! I love it and this rug certainly has added modern yet authentic feel to my living room, the kid can sit there, and it so easy to clean up!!!

Color as described. Stains come clean pretty easily.

The picture is true to what the rug looks like. I thought because it was thin that it would fit under the door when opening. It did not. It’s a well made rug.

Beautiful rug! Photos true to color...navy and creamy gray. Pulled my pillows and sectional together and made the room pop! I came in two days! You might need a pad if you want a softer feel.
