I first want to say this was a beautiful rug. Color was stunning, pattern was fantastic. However, while it is listed as being able to be used outdoor rug in heavy traffic area this was not the case. I had to throw this rug away after one year of use because it became threadbare. It was not in a heavy traffic area, however it was outdoors in full sun - something it clearly could no handle. I would recommend this for someone intending to use this in a covered area or indoors but not for a true outdoor rug.
