Safavieh Hudson Shag Antigoni Moroccan Rug

Every great review I read about this rug was true. This rug is so plush and so comfortable, it's almost a shame to put furniture on it. I will soon be purchasing another for our 2nd floor loft. It arrived in great shape, packaged securely so there was no damage despite sitting out in the rain. I debated between the ivory and the grey but was won over by reviewers pictures of the ivory. It's definitely a darker ivory which reduced my worries about having a light colored rug with 2 young boys. The pile is quite high and my Shark still has a little trouble even on the high pile setting but we manage to get it clean. I love, love, love this rug and would HIGHLY recommend it. See attached pictures. The first one is right after I opened it (you can see what great shape it was in right out off the bat). The last one is with my son's feet in it to give perspective of plush-iness.:)

I only purchase area rugs from Overstock, and I only purchase Safavieh rugs. This shag rug is absolutely beautiful and very good quality, especially for the price. The description states it is grey/ivory - it is correct - but at certain angles and lighting, it looks more taupe, as many of the reviews stated. The color will blend with greys and also browns and beiges. I purchased this rug in 8x10, 6x9, 5' round, 3x5 and 2.3x8'. I decided to go with this bold pattern throughout the house. It is absolutely beautiful in all shapes and sizes. The design fits the rug no matter what size you choose.I absolutely recommend this particular rug, along with all Safavieh rugs. You won't be disappointed.

I am IN LOVE with this rug. It's plush, the colors are perfectly as pictured, and absolutely what I was looking for in an elegant look. The white is ivory and the pattern has mixed shades of grey. My animals even prefer to lay on it than their beds! I haven't vacuumed it yet so I don't know how it will old up. I've had it out for four days and it's not shedding yet. Absolutely lovely! I can't see me regretting this purchase.

After a lot of research, I went with this one - it is super lush and the color is gray with flecks of lighter and darker color. The price is really competitive and spot of for the quality. And when it arrived (faster then promised), the first thing that happened is that my 15 mo old son face planted into the rug. It is soft and plush and perfect for our living room. A month in - we are pleased. No problems with vacuuming. No obvious stains.

This rug is gorgeous! I was skeptical about ordering a rug online, but I am so happy that I did. I love this rug. The colors are beautiful and just as pictured. The material is soft and thick. There are absolutely no thin places and no shedding. It vacuums well. I have it in my master bath and simply love it. I believe I could not have selected a better rug for this room. This was my first time shopping with Overstock, but it will not be my last. I could not be happier with my purchase.

After purchasing two other rugs that didn't work out, I wanted to be sure before I tried ordering online again. I searched in stores and online and really hadn't found anything to my liking for the price I wanted. I had read reviews from various websites on this rug and it pretty much had great reviews all around, so I went ahead and bought it. Overstock had the best price as it was on sale and I was able to use a discount on top! Ended up paying close to $60 less from another site! The rug arrived within 2 days of placing my order and was packaged very securely. On the other hand, if you want to return it, plan on having to pay for some materials because the plastic has to be cut off. Upon unwrapping the rug, without even having it unrolled all the way, I was so excited because I finally found a rug I liked. The fibers were sort of flat upon initially opening, so I reverse rolled it and fluffed up the fibers as I went and it pretty much fixed it. I was worried about the color because people were saying that it was not as light as the picture, which is true. I would say the ivory is closer to the picture in DIRECT SUNLIGHT but still not quite as light. It has a mix of white/ivory and light beige fibers. I will say that the grey looked like a warm brown/taupe on my computer screen but in person the grey is a true, not too cool grey. In regards to softness, I would say it's in the middle, not ridiculously soft like a bathroom rug but definitely comfortable enough to lie on. I feel like it's because the fibers are chunkier/thicker in size vs what people normally associate with shag rugs. It basically looks like a sturdier not as fuzzy yarn weave. It is dense and you cannot see the backing so that it can hide dirt and small crumbs which is both a pro and con. It's been 24 hours since and my living room does smell like new carpet, nothing unbearable. The pile height is closer to 1.5in and that's really if you hold up to strand to measure. Now I just need to figure out how to vacuum it since my vacuum does not have a height adjustment or switch to turn off the beater bar. I feel like a vacuum that has an upholstery attachment would work fine, it would just take a little longer. Hopefully it will hold up well, but overall, initial impression is I'm loving it! *The rug has jute backing so on my carpet it's fine but I would at a minimum use a non-skid pad on hardwood floors just because the backing is rough in texture.

The shag, the color goes well in my family room. Looks Great. I have 3 different shags rugs I've purchased made by Safavieh Hudson. You cant go wrong.

I ordered this rug for my dining room but when it came in, I decided to use it in my family room instead. It is a beautiful rug! The quality is unbelievable. The pile is so thick and comfortable to walk on and even lay on. My grand daughter wanted to take her nap in the floor with her blanket and pillow because she loved the feel of the rug so much. It is thick so I opted out of using a pad under it because I have a large coffee table sitting on it which keeps it from moving. The color does look a little different than online, but it's a beautiful gray, silver,charcoal combination that will hide dirt well. I am actually considering buying another rug from this same line. Also the way they ship it keeps it from being damaged. They package it rolled tight with thick plastic wrapped tightly around it and have the ends guarded really well. I am well pleased with this purchase.

I am totally pleased with this rug and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in making a bold statement ! I had a shag rug in the seventies that I loved and have been waiting for them to come back in style. This Safavieh Hudson Shag is thick and plush. It feels great on bare feet. It brightens my room and is true to color. The quality is fantastic and I have received many compliments. Thank you Overstock.

We love this rug! It is soft, thick, and plush. The first night we had it down, my 2 year old rolled around on it because he liked it so much! It is a great neutral color that goes well with any decor, and the pattern is very modern. It is not a uniform gray, but instead has both light and dark grays. This is great, because it will hide stains. With two dogs and a two year old, that is very important to me!!! There was a smell when I opened the rug, but it was gone within a day. I really could not be happier with this rug!!

This rug is amazingly comfortable! It's true to color and we love it. Would definitely recommend this rug to anyone. It is a little tougher to vacuum but wouldn't deter me from buying another. Great rug!!

Love the quality and colors of this rug. I get alot of compliments on it. I like that you can vacuum it and it still looks thick. Be careful if you drop something on it because it takes awhile to find it because it's so fluffy and thick. V

OK. This is our FAMILY favorite or everything I've bought over the last several months through our remodel. We bought it in Navy for our family room (den) and it is seriously so comfortable. My kids - even my teenagers lay on it to relax. We all take our shoes off just to feel how plush and comfortable it is!! If I could have this carpet in every room of my house I would!

I would definitely recommend this rug. I purchased two, one gray with ivory in living room and one ivory with gray on dining area. Very luxurious and they look great.

Love this rug! We bought it for the nursery and my son loves it. It was great when he was young for sensory and now he likes laying on it to read books and play. It is comfy and has worn very well over the last 2 years. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again!

Lo único no tan bueno es el color, yo lo pedí ivory/grey pero en realidad el gris es un poco más cafe. De cualquier forma me gusto mucho y estoy muy contenta con la compra. Lo recomiendo al 10000%
