Bought this to warm up a basement floor. Super thick pile is very soft and comfortable underfoot. Wouldn’t want this somewhere you’re going to eat (like dining room) as food will disappear into it. Perfect for family room in basement though. Kids love just laying on it.

I love the thickness and soft quality to the rug. I don’t have a carpet pad under as it doesn’t need one. It doesn’t shed. However my only complaint is that while the gray and ivory are perfect there is a goldish beige in the ivory areas. I wasn’t expecting that and was originally disappointed. During the evening hours that is seen more than during the brightness of the day. Luckily, I managed to find curtains that had mostly ivory and gray with a hint of beige so I am now at peace with my carpet 😊
