  • Pretty but messy

I love the look and feel of this rug. However, the shedding is another story. We've had this rug for almost a year, the shedding has lightened up a bit but not completely. If you enjoy softball size wool tumbleweeds rolling around your house (trust me when I say they end up EVERYWHERE) and vacuuming at least two to three times a day, then this is the rug for you. Pretty but a major headache to deal with. Shopping for a replacement now.

This rug has been on my Pinterest board for too long. When O finally had 15% off rugs, I knew it was the time to purchase. I hemmed and hawed between the silver or brown one, but since I read in some reviews that the silver tended to blue/lavender, and the brown toward a greige brown, I selected this one. It arrived today and my 1 year old pretty much did what I wanted to when I rolled it out: ran around on it in circles screaming for joy. :) It reminds me of a Nordic sweater - cozy and soft, while still retaining class and the lovely neutrality that is so instyle right now. I like trellis rugs, but decided they are too much of a trend right now, and this rug will be more timeless. I have the 6x9, it is 4 circles across and 6 down. The ivory is more of an oatmeal, and, (so happy about this) the brown has a hefty dose of grey in it, which means it goes well with both my pewter couch and grey recliner. The raised pattern has large loops which gives it incredible softness. I only buy wool, because it is so awesome and a natural fiber. Many reviews said it sheds, so I emptied the vacuum cleaner and gave it a good going over when I laid it down, and it filled the entire bag right up. I know it will shed for a while, but will stop eventually, as my other wool rugs have. Overall, I could not be more pleased! I have tried to include everything I wondered before ordering it. Don't hesitate - at this price it is an incredible rug. You will love it!

  • Beautiful thick rug!

This rug is beautiful and very homey, if that makes sense. It is more like a thick warm cozy sweater than the sharp contempoary rug that I thought it was, but those qualities make it even more perfect for the room I chose it for. (Dressing room- attached to master.) This rug is so thick, and soft. The "cream" (which I think is more of an oatmeal) is nice because the color and the way that it is woven is such that it won't show dust/ dirt or wear the way that othe cream rugs might. Arrived in 2 days- great for the price- I LOVE OVERSTOCK RUGS & CUSTOMER SERVICE!!:)

  • Great rug!

As mentioned in other reviews, this rug has some added texture (the white portions are raised). At first I wasn't crazy about this feature, but it's really grown on me. The rug is very well-made and does not need a rug pad underneath (or at least I haven't used one!) Very happy with this purchase.

  • Chic & Cheap!

Just received this rug today and my husband and I love it! Fast shipping (arrived in 2 days)! The rug has a textured surface: the ivory swirls are slightly elevated above the chocolate. It gives great cushion and feels good on bare feet. Looks much more expensive than overstock price. A must have!
