  • Nice rug, much lighter than the picture.

I purchased this rug to warm up out hall. Its great for that, super thick, warm and very attractive. However, it is much lighter than the pictures. Someone said it is burgundy, but mine isn't even close to being that rich and dark. The color is a little striated and the flowers are celery and light mustard. After thinking about what to call the main color, I'm not sure what the name to give it. Here is a hex number that almost matches it. You can search it in Google and there are lots of sites that will show you the color: A84865 Of course that is on my computer, not yours….. they are all different. Wish is was a rich dark burgundy, but i still love the rug.

  • Excellent for its price.
    Verified Purchase

I actually bought 2 of this rugs in different sizes, one for the foyer and one for the hallway. They were well packed and arrived fairly quickly (in time for Christmas). They shed for a week or so (as expected) and looks great. We receive many compliments.

  • Great rug if you are looking for burgundy!

This is a beautiful rug, but it is NOT red. It has a red tint to it, but it is more accurately described as a wine or burgundy color. It is more of a purplish-red than a orangish-red or true red. And since the red is the dominant color in the rug, it does not blend well with the other true reds in my house. It is very hard to tell from the actual color from the picture.
