Safavieh Handmade Cape Cod Marget Boho Coastal Jute Rug

First let me say this rug is everything we were looking for. Colors, style - perfect for our beachy farmhouse decor. So much so I purchased two - one a 5x8 and the other 3x5. Immediately upon arrival it seemed the rugs were dirty. Used. I attempted to contact Overstock both via phone and chat and never received an adequate answer. While rag rugs always have a “worn” quality - this goes beyond that. Dirt is visible over the entire surface - basically it’s a shade of grey and the bright colors are muddled by it. It’s difficult to photograph but if you poke the weave and twist it, you can see how clean the other side is and how it is supposed to look. I’m still trying to get an answer from Overstock and am awaiting a return call. All in all very disappointed - but had this been a new rug this review would be much higher. This is definitely a quality control issue with Overstock. And extremely disappointing.

My daughter picked this out for her bedroom figuring it would match everything and she was right - it brings together her eclectic taste perfectly and looks great at the end of her bed. A plus is that it also looks great with our older cape cod style home. One thing neither of us noticed in the pictures is that between each braided layer, is a layer of braided natural fiber which we both actually prefer. Just got it yesterday but it feels high quality and will hopefully last for years. Overall a great purchase!

Oh my how beautiful is this Safavieh cape cod boho braided red/multi color rug!! The colors are bright and the quality is amazing! I love happy colors around me and my only concern was that this rug would be a dull shade. It is not! Perfect to go in front of my antique buffet but would be gorgeous in any setting. I highly recommend the workmanship in this rug.

A truly gorgeous rug. Exactly what I was looking for for my boho farmhouse kitchen. The rug is beautifully hand woven and you can tell. For the price, I am extremely pleased and would recommend this rug to anyone.

The pictures don’t do this rug justice! It is gorgeous... very interesting pattern of alternating jute and fabric. What a versatile rug! The colors are a great neutral and have a wide variety of shades that can work with many color palettes. Love the different size options in this rug - was able to find the perfect fit for the room - and adore the oval versus the normal round or rectangular options!

This runner is outstanding. It is brightly colored and includes a twine like thread to bind it all together. I purchased the larger run to go with it, and they look great together. I have vacuumed it also and the vacuum does not get caught into the threads of the rug. I really believe that this rug with withstand hard use. I have placed it in our lower level so it will get lots of traffic from outdoors and also wet feet from the lake. I am confident that this rug is going to last a long time.

This rug is very well made , durable yet soft enough to walk on , standing up to 2 dogs and a baby. The color is neutral with multicolored specs throughout which can go with most decors. It has maintained its shape and holds up to multiple vacuuming . It has held up well in a high traffic area. I recommend this rug for the value and price. I also recommend to get the padding underneath, which helps to keep the rug in place.

Just received this rug for our teeny weeny tiny kitchen and it fits perfectly, like it a lot. We are still waiting for the rug pad to appear at our front door...any day now we hope!! not sure when if ever, we will see the rug pad. Some orders get shipped to our physical address and some go somewhere else, such as the USPS where they are lost for eternity. Please change your shipping methods, very frustrating to use OVERSTOCK!!

This is a beautiful rug - I am using it under my dining room table to add some color to the rug that is already there - I laid it over the wall to wall carpeting that is a very neutral color - the quality is excellent on this rug and a great value for the money. Shipping time was good and so was packing - highly recommend this rug and it seems to be very durable for high traffic areas....also there is no odor on this rug something very important to me since I am allergic to most rugs ...

Beautiful colors! Not a thick rug but gorgeous. Wasn’t sure if it would be as beautiful as it was shown. I have to say it’s more vibrant than I expected and I love that.

I bought two of these rugs. One to protect the carpet where it transitions to hardwood, and the other to protect the carpet where it transitions to tile. This rug is very pretty, washes up well, and it has so many colors it probably would go well in a lot of different color schemes. Always happy with my rug purchases from Overstock.

This is one gorgeous rug. What I love about it--the colors are beautiful--it is very heavy so it doesn't move much. What I don't like about it--it is braided so you will have ends come loose--if you have dogs, be forewarned that they can cause this to happen. If you have a home with no dogs (or no big dogs) you will love this rug. I do love it but I know that it will not last that long for me.

Love these rugs. Bought 2 more after seeing the quality of the first one I bought. The price is just perfect and the quality is great and the colors and vibrant and beautiful. It’s thick and feels great when walking on it and it brightened up our apartment with our dark hardwood flooring.

Sturdy and pretty, this was a great choice for a busy hallway runner. Picture is true to life.

Were just 2 protruding parts in a quite large handmade rug...very easy to trim off. Colors and structure were excellent, extremely true to picture considering each individually made. Re-rolled on arrival outside in for 24 hours so would lay flat, beautiful when unrolled. Well packaged. For braided rug, extremely flat and beautiful oval. Makes our space perfect.

The rug is very colorful and very well made. Pulls your fruniture and room together with all the colors and patterns of the rug. Very pleased with this purchase and the price was cetainly reasonable. If I had more room, I wold buy another one. I purchased the 4 x 6 oval. I put it in my living room.

I sent this back because it was very light weight for what I wanted. It was very red and was cute but more red than shown in pictures. It would definitely need a very heavy rug pad underneath so loses its value price.

I am so happy with my rug. It soooo soft and lovely to walk on, or stand on at the sink or when getting out of the tub. The colors are beautiful but perfectly toned down with the natural color of the jute. The only concern I have is what I will need to do when it comes time to clean it. Highly recommended!

The rug is beautiful so far. Just rolled out in dining room today. Seems high quality, no smell at all. Just enough color mixed in with the overall natural look and feel. Would definitely purchase again.

I purchased the orange multi-colors. The colors are very vibrant and liven up my living room. I like to accent my natural tones with vibrant colors. Love this..

This seems to be a very well made rug. It’s a beautiful neutral color, while still giving a pop of color. I did use a pad underneath, but I think it would be nice and soft either way. Even our dogs have started laying on the floor, enjoying this rug.
