  • Beautiful Rug
    Verified Purchase

The blue is more of a slate blue than an indigo - which I like better. No shedding, came quickly and is perfect in my living room.

  • Not too bad
    Verified Purchase

I bought this rug over 4 years ago and O is asking me to review it now. The color is not as shown. It is a much lighter Blue- like a faded blue jean blue. It did shed a great deal at first but has improved. It also smelled of rubber at first, but that's gone I do like the rug but the color is lighter than pictured. I had read previous reviews so I knew that before I bought it.

  • Not at all as pictured

Don't buy this. This rug looks nothing like pictured. The rug in the picture looks like an old world rug, rich in color with a heavily detailed pattern. The rug sitting in my living room looks blah and borders on pastel coloring. The blue is not dark blue, or slate or teal; it is a light-medium blue (a close paint match to the blue would be Blue Lagoon by Valspar), and overpowers all other colors in the rug. When you look at it, it's like, BAM LIGHT BLUE. The "gold" is not gold at all, but a blend of pale near-yellows, beige and tan - very light and very blah. The little bit of rust in the design is a reddish brown, but there's so little of it that it stands out like stains at first glance more than part of a pattern. There is some sage green in the pattern, but it blends in with the beige and you have to look hard to find it. Other than the blue and rust, all colors blend together and the pattern is not defined at all. It looked terrible in the gold, teal and sage family room that I'd bought it for. So it went into the formal living room instead. It still doesn't match anything, but at least doesn't ruin the room. I would return by what a hassle! I might just repaint our living room and buy some new throw pillows to make it work better in the space. That or I can try to dye this rug in my driveway this Spring. Either way, what a disappointment.

  • Colors are off pilling after 1 year

This rug is pretty OK I don't hate it, but the color is way lighter then in the picture and it is already pilling after 1 year. Its in our formal living rom that we practically never use so I would say the quality is not great. It does look pretty, but the colors are way lighter and more vibrant then shown. I wanted the deeper blue & yellow and its more light teal and beige.

  • decent rug for the price
    Verified Purchase

I have ordered several rugs from overstock. This one as well as another, the fibers are twisted in a way that when you look down at the rug you can see each strand of yarn, where other rugs I have ordered in the same price range are either more dense or the yarn was not twisted so much before tufting that it fills out.... those rugs are also far softer on your bare feet, where this one is more ruff. It is a beautiful rug, I feel like the colors are true to the picture, however in person I did not care for the blue as much as I was hoping. In my house it just seems so teal, the rust looks really dark from afar and the gold in the rug stands out more than I was expecting, but it might just be the light in my house. If return shipping were free, I would have returned it, because it was just not the rug I was hoping for. Since it was far too difficult to return and the loss of money I decided to keep it and just use it under the dining table where I needed a rug anyway.

  • OK Rug

This rug is well made but colors are different from the pictures. Buyers need to be aware these rugs shed. I am hopeful that this will diminish after repeated vacuuming.
