  • Nice colors, HORRIBLE odor.

Like the other reviewer, I expected an indoor rug when I bought this. I needed it to add warmth to a cold concrete floor. The burlap type smell of this rug is so incredibly potent that I am stuck hauling it back out to the garage where it will hopefully air out. It definitely doesn't seem like a wool rug to me as that wording usually indicates something softer than what I received. The colors are accurate to the website images so in that respect I wasn't disappointed at all. There does seem to be a faint stain in one area though so that combined with the god awful smell keeps me from giving this a higher rating. If you're going to use this outside on a covered patio or something, I say go for it. If it's going to go in a main living area be aware that it is not very soft and that you will have to deal with the odor.

  • Very thin, but may be ok for the purpose

The colors are a variety of warm pale and mossy greens and some brown stripes, which would work fine if the rug was plush to feel. Rather, the weave has this almost sisal type rug feel to it. Like when you buy an outdoor rug that is made of grass fibers or synthetic fibers and the rug is flat and hard to walk on, rather than a plush wool rug with a pile that has some height to it. Maybe I missed something in the description because I expected a plush wool rug just like all those other ones I got from Overstock. Anyway, like the warm greens, don't like how it feels underfoot. We are thinking about putting it on the porch, but it is not an outdoor rug, so not sure how it would do if it gets some moisture from rain. I will have to replace it, so probably will try to use it somehow somewhere, but this is not what I expected by any stretch of imagination.
