Unfortunately the color is not anything like shown. It's more brown with really none to very little blue at all. Quality is good but I bought it for the color.

I ordered the 3x5 and this runner.. SO disappointed with the 3x5 which arrived a few days ago, and now today this one arrived, and I offer the same review. This is not the rug as represented. The colors are MUCH darker than the sales photos, the rug is much thicker, the size is not exactly...but the deal breaker for me once again is that this is NOT a rug with fringe on the ends. Rather, this is thick hemp or jute or whatever, and at both ends the material is simply folded over and glued so you have a super thick hem at each end which means you cannot have a door opening around it (way too thick) and additionally you trip over those thick hems. WHERE IS THE FRINGE? I am returning this runner along with the 3x5 rug. Very disappointed. These were ordered at the same time, my first experience with Overstock.com and I'm really seriously unhappy.

  • NOT as pictured, not as sized

The rug is quite heavy, a good strong weave. However there are three MAJOR problems. First and foremost the rug does not match either the photo or description .... in fact, I've debated over and over trying to decide if they even sent the right rug. The rug is a much darker, much grayer blue and green with a dash of gold; there is no fringe at the ends. It's a gorgeous set of colors if you're going dark with your decor .... just not at all the color pictured. The second problem with the rug is that the heavy jute/hemp when turned over at the ends (instead of having tied off fringe at the ends) creates a lump at each long end of the rug that is twice as thick as the remaining already thick rug. For most people, this bulge will create a tripping hazard or a stub point since hemp is not a smooth fabric. For me, this also creates a problem for my door to open across it for the hallway in which it was intended. Finally, the rug is not the exact size indicated. The size marked on the rug itself (which should be exact from the manufacturer) is 2.7 x 7.1 -- if you were looking for exact dimensions you'd be disappointed. These discrepancies have made me wary of ever again buying a rug from overstock!

Very well made. Extremely durable. Beautiful ocean blue, slightly more muted than the photo. Is very heavy, therefore doesn't really need a pad. Have it in my kitchen and couldn't be happier. This is a rug that will last a long long time and still look good. Highly recommend!
