Safavieh Courtyard Kailani Indoor/ Outdoor Rug

I would post a pic if I could. I am using it in my kitchen. It is a great indoor rug, and the water resistant material works well for the kitchen. The pattern is beautiful w/ my Moroccan style decor, and lovely neutral tones. The price is fair for the size rug. You'll need backing to resist slipping/sliding, and I recommend using construction caulk and allow to fully dry (of course). My one complaint is that it came snagged, and in looking at it, it has a loose loop and looks more likely to snag than any rug I own, but time will tell. The fabric looks durable, so I could be wrong about that. It is low-pile, at least, so easy to vacuum, and you can take it outside & wash it w/ the garden hose. Very practical. I plan to purchase a second for my entry atrium. Thanks again, Overstock.

I have a problem with rugs. I love them a little too much. This is the 8th rug I've bought in two years and I wish I would've tried this kind of rug first. We have two larger dogs, a two year old and a newborn so style is usually trumped by durability. Not the case with this rug! We have it under the dining room table and it's amazing. The color is beautiful (dry slate with cream/ivory) and the pattern is what I'd hoped for. My husband actually LIKES this rug! It's soft too! The first night we had it, we were trying to let the wrinkles flatten before we put the table back so we played a board game on the floor. My husband said he expected it to be scratchy and was relieved it was soft. I gave 4 stars for the quality because I can see the little nub of where the gray fibers ended and a new one started. It's not a big deal to me but I know some people might be bothered by it.

I am very pleased with all aspects of this indoor-outdoor rug. Many retailers (both local & online), do not carry sizes larger than 8' X 10', but was happy to find a selection of larger rugs on Overstock.com. And in the past, I have had issues with the hemmed edges beginning to unravel (both out of the package, as well as after minimal use). But this rug is very good quality, well made and substantial. The colors are fairly true to the photo, a black field with the design in a dark ivory/light beige, that has a hint of a golden hue. So far, it has been easy to clean up minor spills and sweep off. I used the 9' X 12' Martha Stewart Non-Slip Hard Floor Rubber Rug Pad that I also ordered from Overstock.com, which worked out great with this rug on my covered terrace.

I ordered this rug because I live in a desert environment and the floors get very dusty. Previous wool or natural fiber rugs took a real beating, so I wanted to try an outdoor style because it can be washed with soap and water and actually taken outside and hosed if necessary. The rug exceeds my expectations. I also bought the highest quality of thick pad that Overstock offers and this makes the rug very, very comfortable for use and our dogs. I've seen this rug on other sites for 30-40% more $$. The rugs looks very nice, very on trend and makes a big statement in our living room. There is nothing about the rug that screams "outdoor rug." Because the rug is man-made fiber, dust and grim does not seem to penetrate or "soak in" to the fibers and simple vacuuming is probably all I need to do with maybe a shampoo once or twice a year with a simple canned rug shampoo. I will say, it seems to take much longer for the wrinkles to go out of the outdoor rugs than typical rugs, but not a big deal. I placed some heavy items at each corner and used double sided rug tape in a couple areas to attach it to the pad. All good. I am so happy with it, I ordered a smaller similar rug for our front door entry.

This is the third Safavieh indoor/outdoor rug I have ordered. I have a round one in my gazebo, a square one onder a table, and this one under a sectional sofa on my porch. All are under cover, but have worn extremely well. That don't fade and clean easily. I actually have three different patterns to jazz things up a bit, but by keeping the same colors, the whole has a coherent feel. They are light enough that they can be easily rolled up for storage over the winter, but substantial enough to look really good when down. I highly recommend these rugs.

I purchased this rug to sit at the threshold of a sliding glass door leading inside our house. It is ideal for this type of purpose given the nature of the material and its texture. This rug is not designed to be an accent rug as it is not soft or cushioned. Rather it's a great way to ensure people don't track dirt, water, etc. into your home when coming in from outside. It's stylish and modern and I am very pleased with how it looks in my house.

Just received the Safavieh Poolside Rug I ordered. Exactly the color and quality I was looking for!

Loved the product, but it's now about 5 shades lighter so it no longer matches the pillows I bought to go with it. I figured it would fade over time, but just not so fast.

Good addition to my sunroom. Excellent quality although thinner than expected.

Bought for use at another house, where it was fine. Moved. Displayed in sun. Not such a if idea! Now resides in landfill. Not the rugs fault. If you need a small area rug for a shady outside location, this is fine.

Been on my Patio through horrible rain storms since November 2014 and has held up wonderfully. Perfect for nautical designs.

I purchased this for my front porch which is exposed to all the elements. It was shipped tightly rolled up and took about a month for it to lay flat. There are still some bumps that I believe will flatten out over time. The color is a little darker than the picture shows. It doesn't seem to snag that easily if you are worried about pets and claws. I have a cedar tree that drops needles and they do stick in the weaves that are somewhat difficult to sweep off with the broom. But for the money it fits the bill and is worth the purchase.

The color is not as depicted on the website. It is more blue-grey. Otherwise with a nice sheen and smoothness.

I use it under a chair mat. It serves it's purpose. I like it.

The rust orange color is true to the picture. Quality is great especially for the price - no buckling poorly sewn edges or loose threads. Very happy with it!

Fits perfectly in my square kitchen between and protects my tile floor from grease splatters. Would rather lightly shampoo this in/outdoor carpet than dry to clean grease off tile.

Love this rug. Used it outside under my doormat for a layered look. It's withstood the weather and the color hasn't faded at all!

I have had this rug out in the direct sun all summer and it has not faded or shown any sign of wear. I love it! In fact I bought the matching runner recently.

I got the red runner at 18 feet and it was perfect. I like that None of the ends were curled up or under so it laid flat. color is true and beautiful to go in my sun room

Beautiful, durable, exactly what I wanted for my back porch. I ordered the orange and the color is rich and bright and matches my throw pillows. Very happy!

I bought this rug in 22 foot runner size for my front porch. So far, so good but it has only been down for 2 days. The size is good for the space and it is serving its purpose. I have read other reviews about fading. My porch is covered so this may not be a big issue. I will revise this review if I notice it is.

Purchased this for our dining room at the lake. Love it and fits perfect.
