Pretty thin and just a printed image on some foam, there's no texture or anything. I love the colors and thought it was really cute in my space - but it feels superrrrr cheap. I'll be returning.
Color and pattern 5 stars, quality 5 stars, stability on lamInmate or other smooth surfaces 3 stars. Without a pad that will stick to the rug and floor, the rug moves around whenever you walk on it. Often times your feet will cause the rug to gather or flip an end over causing the risk of tripping.
Elegant and stain resistant to boot. Have had lots of compliments about how pretty it is. Only recommendation would if you have hard floors, put something under it to keep it from shifting. Would definitely purchase another one!

Wanted a washable rug with these colors to blend in with others I purchased from BB&Y. Works great. This rug was on Sale/Special at time purchased. Order two of the 6X9 rugs and two runner rugs in the same color. Glad I did.

Beautiful, inexpensive rug that is great for what I need. I have 3 dogs so I choose not to spend a fortune on area rugs because they ultimately get destroyed over time. This rug is very light weight but also has a nice thickness/cushion to it.
This rug is perfect for our rustic kitchen! Normally I would choose a real wool Persian rug, but finding a one that is perfectly square is pretty much impossible. Safavieh to the rescue! This rug goes beautifully with our decor, and it looks like it's 200 years old ~~ exactly the look we wanted, and being "washable" is an added bonus! We're going to add a thick rug pad under it just to add comfort in this highly trafficked kitchen. Glad to find such a nice rug, at a reasonable price, that looks this great!
I was buying this rug as a present for my daughter's new home and at the time it only had 1 review but it was excellent. I knew that printed rugs have a different look and feel, but I knew nothing about washable rugs of this size. I loved the pattern and colors and believed she would too. It was delivered and I didn't hear from her and thought for sure it was going back. Then I got her text " I LOVE IT", she'd been waiting to put the pad down and unroll the rug for 24 hrs as directions say to do to let it fluff up, and place her furniture before giving me her verdict. You can't ask for more than that!
This is a new type of rug for me. It is printed on a soft, flat, material with a non slip backing. I have used a rug pad under it. It looks very " real" in the light of my living room, for a fraction of the cost of the real oriental rug. Best deal is my cats seem to have no interest in destroying this rug, only lounging. It is easy to clean too. Lies flat.
