Such great quality! I was searching for the perfect "ladder" bookcase and finally found it! It looks just like ones from Crate and Barrel but I didn't have to pay $150 for shipping! It took some time to put together but well worth it! It's extremely sturdy!

This shelving unit looks nice, however I will not buy anything made of MDF. The description says made of strong Mahogany. Specifications say wiod and wood veneer. The shelves are straight up MDF with only a thin wood veneer. The only real wood is the frame. Lots of folks don't mind MDF. I hate it. The issue is lack of clarity so you know what you are buying. Now I am stuck with a crappy material I don't want, because it's not really returnable. I gave a 2nd star because it seems sturdy and looks fine.
