very good quality

I like wool rugs and this one is exactly what i expected. It is very thick and dense with beautiful light green color and nice wine pattern. It sheds at the beginning, and it requires frequent vacuuming. Once it is past that point, it feels nice. The finish is light and prone to staining. Need to be very careful. Any spills should be thoroughly cleaned with clean water first, before sing any cleaning products. If cleaning products are applied on the stain directly, they may leave permanent marks.

My husband ordered this rug. We put it in our sun room, but it shed all over the place, so I sent it back. Husband didn't realize that wool sheds.

Grey Color Not Consistent

Typical wool rug, vacuums up a lot of fibers. Looks nice, feels soft to walk on. One disappointment is the grey ares appear with white spots. Did the vacuum do it? Is the dyeing faulty? I added a close up photo to show the spots. The lighting in the photo is causing a yellow shadow, the yellow is not in the rug. The black areas on rug have no white spots, cream background is consistent too. I have 2 other Safavieh rugs with no issue whatsoever.

great runner

This hallway runner created a nice transition to my other Soho rug of a similar color and design. It took a couple of weeks for the carpet to flatten - I thought I might have to return it. No shedding issues so far, it seems like a good durable choice for my entryway. Safavieh creates some beautifully designed and affordable wool rugs, so that i can easily avoid buying synthetic rugs which off-gas and pollute interiors.

This rug is exquisite. The quality and feel are great. I liked it so much for my bathroom that I bought a 2nd one (2'x3'). It is described as blue, but it's actually a very pale aqua/green. The perfect color for my home.
