There is no way to keep the shedding of this carpet under control. This is such a cheap over priced quality product. I wish I could return it!!!
This is a "wow" rug. It sets the mood and style for the space without being loud or garish. It's thick and well made with a wonderful feel under foot.
Everyone who came and saw said it was awesome.
I will never again buy a natural wood carpet! I love the color and modern pattern of this carpet, it's thick, however if I knew about this excessive shedding I would not buy it. It's been over a month and my Roomba vacuum cannot keep up, leaves clumps of shedded wool from this carpet all over. I don't know if this is a thing with all wool carpets or just this one.
It's frayed on all sides, like it was cut with a box cutter. And 6 days later it's still coming out in clumps. It probably won't last more than a year, max.
Do NOT waste your money on this rug. What surprised me is that many reviewers did not mention how much it sheds. I have to vacuum this rug twice a day ever since I bought it. As soon as someone steps on it, it's starts to shed like crazy. This is ridiculous. It's beautiful yes, but this kind of shedding is insane. I wanted to give it a chance, because it complements the decor of my home, but it's definitely not worth it. Don't waste your time or money.
This is a excellent quality Rug. Exact match to web description. The only temporary con is the this rug when vacuumed on it keeps oozing out wool, this happens for almost 3 months and then it settles. We loved this rug Great Modern Rug. Buying another one from same brand
Great quality runners, and holding up really well, easy to shampoo as well. They were only shedding at the beginning, like most wool rugs do. The only thing was that the colors were not close to what was pictured. They were a lot more muted and sadly not as bright as pictured, the white is clearly a sand color (besch) and the blue is also lighter and muted etc. Tried to upload a picture but it didn't let me.
I love this rug. Some people complained about the excessive shedding but I have not had that problem. It is contemporary and adds a nice pop of color to my space.
