Very pretty and well made, but it does pick easily.
This rug has no backing even with a padding and adhesive corners was very slippery. I tripped and hurt my self. I ended up replacing the rug. Very hazardous. Would not recommend
This looks really pretty. But there's two issues to be aware of. One, you'll definitely need a rug pad for comfort if this is over a hard floor. Two, some of the threads holding the patterns together are quite weak and will break over time which ruins the design. Not for high traffic areas.
Love the carpet itself. It is great quality but it is more flexible vs structured (it moves and bunches vs staying flat on the floor). I love the pattern and texture but like soooo many reviews the smell is just so weird. I truly tried to love this rug esp for what I paid for it but even after trying to clean it the odor is just odd ...like a stale old diaper. I had it in my kids room amd had to remove it.
Beautiful rug but attracts hair like a hair magnet. And it's impossible to vacuum - it doesn't pick up due to texture and the fact that the hair gets caught up in the wool balls. If you have any tendency for ocd, you are going to spend hours lying on this rug picking out hairs one by one. I read all the reviews, bought the rug, kept it in my room for 3 years and never ended up actually using the room because the rug drove me crazy. Finally gave the rug away.
Awesome quality and great color
Don't waste your money on this rug it won't last. The looping is large and the wool unknot itself all over this rug. I'm constantly seeing the looping being pulled out of the carpet. Don't walk on it with high heels or even think to let your pets walk on this rug either! Not practical for high traffic areas will not hold up.
Gorgeous rug. It was wrapped nicely for shipping and once unrolled, laid beautifully. In the space I placed the rug, it really didn't need a non slip rug pad, but it you're placing it an area with heavy traffic, I would recommend one.
I fell in love with this rug and it didn't disappoint. I probably read all the reviews first before purchasing. I purchased the 8x10 rug and in that size, it doesn't seem to move much, however I'll likely still put some anti-skid rug pads in the corners to avoid it slipping or tripping over it if it moves. Once more of my furniture arrives (bed & trunk) that will keep it in place as well. Some commented about the rug snagging, and I would certainly suggest not stepping on it in heels. It may not be excellent for very high traffic areas. I chose to put it in my bedroom, but it may be more likely to snag if put in a front entryway for example. But no need to put it in your "museum dining room" to only step on a few times a year. If you're the type that often takes your shoes off when coming home, you'll be just fine. There is no shedding, which is important to me in general when looking for rugs. I also like the feel of the texture under my feet lol. There was a slight smell to the rug…not terrible. Febreeze easily eliminated the concern. It was noticeable but not potent. The color was true to the pictures online, it rolled out easily without curling up at the edges. Bottoms line, hood rug.
I got this rug as a runner for a walk-in closet, and it looks great! It is a little short for the space, but it still works. The textured pattern warms the space, and the neutral colors work with everything.
