Nice rug for price.
It sheds soo much and gets dirty very easily and is difficult to clean. It has a nice hand feel though but also needs a rug pad.
I bought the light grey/natural in 10x14. Very happy with the rug so far. It's soft, thick and the color is as expected. The only negative thing I'd say is that there is no stiff backing, so the rug does tend to bunch/buckle on my hardwood floor. I don't need a rug pad to keep it from moving as it is under furniture on 3 sides, but will purchase one to see if it helps this issue.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this rug!! Right out of the packaging, the sides were noticeably crooked and not straight, so the rug looks funny in on the floors and in the room. It looks misshapen and poorly manufactured. On top of that, the rug sheds excessively—far more than what would be considered normal. Fibers come loose constantly, making a mess and requiring frequent cleanup. Even worse, the edges are already unraveling, with loose threads and stitching coming apart despite the rug never being used. This appears to be a manufacturing defect. Overall, this rug feels cheaply made and unusable. I would not recommend it and would return if I had not missed the window due to rennovations.
Although the rug is very nice, I read the reviews and Thought I did my due diligence and ordered dark gray because somebody said the charcoal was green. I received one of the two rugs and the dark gray was also greenish with blue tones. Unfortunately, those colors would not work in a newly remodeled black and gray bathroom. Only gave it two stars because of the color and I had to pay to return the rugs. I ordered different ones that did match. BBB did not feel they should be responsible for shipping…
Ivory and gray
This rug sheds excessively, leaving my floors constantly covered in wool fibers—as if I had multiple pets (and I have none). The shedding is so severe that it makes the room look untidy no matter how often I clean. I would like to know if there is a specific product or treatment that can stop or reduce this issue. If there is no solution, I believe the product description should clearly warn buyers about this level of shedding.
I was not sure if I would like this rug, but it is perfect in. my den. I have a couple of upholstered chairs with a bold floral fabric, and I have been unsuccessful in finding the right rug that will either does not fight with the chairs and does not look boring in the room!! This rug is a great match! It pulls together all the colors in my den and offers a thick, comfortable footing - even in slippers or bare feet! It is not as tightly woven as more traditional berber carpets, so the loops are a little larger, giving it a more relaxed look. I bought the blue multi color, and so there is a rich combination of colors. It is great for a casual and comfortable look.
If you read my reviews, you will see I buy a lot of these rugs! SAFAVIEH is my go-to for quality, durable, stylish rugs that won't pill and really hold up. Their styles are timeless. This was a perfect addition to my daughter's apartment.
The rug is beautiful, think/plush and feels strong. Unfortunately 8 ft round is 7.5 ft
