Beautiful rug for my living room. Sheds a bit initially. But with a light vacuuming it looks perfect. The variegated coloring is perfect with my neutral couch!
I loved this rug the minute I put it down -- it is beautiful! It looks just like the picture. But after a weekend of visitors, it is now junk. You literally cannot clean this rug. I tried various solutions. You can't scrub, of course, but even the simple act of blotting a stain ruins the nap, and forever "scars" the rug. If you never get any spills or dirt on your rugs EVER, then its for you. Otherwise, try something else.
I'm a big fan of Overstock and I was happy with how they processed this order and delivered when promised. And I was really happy with the rug when I first got it. It is attractive and has a silky feel. I love walking barefoot on it. But I wish I had googled viscose rugs before I bought it, and I urge you to do that before you buy one. Viscose is regenerated cellulose. It is very weak and brittle. You must be very gentle vacuuming it...no beater bar, only a brush. The fibers break very easily. I fill the canister of my Dyson every time I vacuum, even though I am as gentle as I can be. This rug will not last long. And viscose rugs tend to yellow when wet, so treating spills becomes a tricky job. More than one person commented that a viscose rug would make a nice wall hanging but a lousy rug. And I agree.
Awful product. it shed so much the entire apartment it's full of the rug. after the second vacuum the rug looks just so old and cheap. Definitely not something I will recommend to anyone. , ,,,,,,, the look of it its just as in the picture but it's just that looks., ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Pretty disappointed with this purchased
