Used in the hallway as a bench and shoe storage. baskets are a bit flimsy/low quality . Seems fairly well constructed with real wood on top. Will not be using the cushions so we'll see how the finish holds up..
I purchased this bench and it was easy to assemble. Love the look by my entry door. My wife loves the look of the bench and the storage baskets under the seat. All in all it was a great buy and addition to our house.
The baskets were all ready rusted on the hinges. It didn't bother us much because we could hide that part. If this will bother you don't buy it.
great benches for the etntry way. Can also recover the pads on the top- as I have do to the white getting dirty from animals jumping up!
I bought this bench to go in a spare bedroom. It fits perfectly and you can put towels or blankets in it for guests. I used to use it for 3 separate sections for feeding squirrels, birds, etc. Now my friends use it for their luggage.
I would like to give this 3.5 stars. I was initially disappointed that the color was brown. It looked gray on my PC, but it does in fact look brown on my iPhone. Many reviews said it was hard to assemble and that gave me pause because I'm not good at assembling furniture. There are problems with the directions. The first step diagram is not accurate. If that were changed and some notes added to the first step about making sure you don't overlap the "F" slot, that would have helped. In any case, if I can do it, you probably can do it. The basket assembly was also a bit tough. I decided that three screws each were good enough for me :-) You do have a nice sturdy bench when you are done!
This looks really nice and provides great storage! As others have noted, it is brown. I would not refer to it as "gray wash" at all. I highly recommend this bench if the color works for you.
Beautiful product. Same quickly. Easy to assemble but the instructions are crap. It tells the reverse of what you're supposed to do.
I love the color and love the idea of the piece, however it is not built the best. It is a little wobbly and it is already beginning to sag in the center it needs an additional support in the middle. My husband is going to need to add an additional support to the center so that it lasts more than a season.
Quality was as described on-line & assembly was easy though the instructions were inaccurate and ripped. Color is browner than "grey-washed" description but it is a nice bench
