The Farahan Sarouk Collection by SAFAVIEH is styled for consumers who love timeless elegance. Our rugs celebrate the Sarouk design, which was updated in the central Persian city of Farahan in the 1800's with finer wool, smaller knots and a denser weave. The carpets are woven of 100-percent handspun New Zealand wool, and luster-washed to achieve the authentic patina of period antiques.
