I purchased two of these runners for my high traffic hallway. We just bought new carpet for our home. I love the color and texture of this rug. The shadow box design is very nice. The detail and color of the runner was what I was looking for. My carpet is grey in my home, but I wanted a different grey to offset what I have. Also I didn't want just a plain runner without any detail. I've only had them a couple of days, and I still need to get a pad underneath the runners so they don't move when you walk on them. I would definitely recommend this runner to some who wants a good quality runner.
Color/Quality Exceeded Expectations - Needs Pads I was afraid to order all the rugs/runners at one time in case I didn't like the color or quality, but was very happy when they arrived and found they exceeded my expectations in both categories. The rugs were more plush than expected. Not thick, but still plush. The sage color is perfect, and looks great on my Cherry hardwood and terra-cotta colored tiles. Since the pattern on the runners is tighter than the pattern on the rugs, the runners do appear a bit darker at first but it appears it's just an illusion. The only issue I am having is that the runners and small rugs slide all over the place when stepped on. This is on hardwood and tile floors. I tried to use the adhesive pads you can stick in the corners, but they did not stick to the back of the rugs. I need to go buy carpet pads for all the rugs and runners. Factor that additional cost into your rug budget and buy the recommended pads from Overstock. Without carpet pads, the runners are sliding forward against walls and the ends are curling up. Runner and rug ends are also curling up because they are not laying flat and are being kicked up. The rugs and runners arrived at different times due to the shipments originating from different locations but all were delivered quite quickly. The end of one rug was accidentally attached to the shrink wrapping, so the end of the rug had a loose thread, but I cut it free, unwound the thread and tied it in a knot to keep it from unraveling any more threads. Overall opinion is that everything looks really good. Once I flatten the ends out they should look great!
