The rug is a nice pattern and seems to be well made, but the cast of the color looks almost "green/gold" in my house. If you want a warm color rather than a cool or true beige this would work. For me however, I am not sure I will keep it as it doesn't quite go with the other browns in my room. I have another jute rug from this company and the color is more taupe/beige which I was hoping would be the undertones of this rug. So, be aware that it definitely has warm undertones in the gold, almost green area than the true beiges for people that are interested in the undertones of the rug. Also, some people wrote about some nice cream colors being in their rug, my rug does have a twinge of cream in the pattern, but gold/green is the primary thing I see in mine. I know they are handmade and can vary, but it is pretty far from what I was expecting.
My first impression after flattening the rug is that the shape looks more like an hour glass (It has 2 small indents on either side of the rug towards the middle) but their so small! It's handmade, it can't possibly be perfect. I don't even notice that anymore, it's the perfect combo of stylish and functional for being right inside the door. Also, the color is more blue than silver
