It is not very thick and will not be mistaken for a handmade turkish rug. I am using it for a runner in our newly purchased old motorhome. the bottom is non skid, it fits perfect in the "hall" between a table and expanding bed. It was also way easier than putting down new linoleum.
I wanted a runner to replace a doormat-sized rug I had in front of my kitchen sink counter. I looked for a pattern that was interesting but wouldn't overpower the rest of the room. I wanted a rug that didn't look cheaply made, but didn't need to be treated carefully. The rug fits the bill. I really love the way it looks. The carpet pile loops follow the pattern of the carpet rather than a grid so it looks handmade instead of machine made. The colors are great, easy to accessorize with. The only problem with the rug is it looks so nice it's made it undeniably clear how badly my old cabinets need refinishing.
