On general thinks "soft" with Chenille. This is not. Which is disappointing for a child's room. It is yarny, not fluffy, and not comfortable for step nor sit.
As other reviewer have stated, the color is not the same as pictured. The problem is, what IS the color??? The only way for anybody to figure out if it will work for their decor is to order it with their fingers crossed. As for the quality: I am using it for my nursery and it is important to me to have something soft. Well the chenille is very soft and I love that about it. I do NOT think it looks like a bathroom rug. As far as the problem determining the color, I have included a a link below to a photo of my [still under construction] nursery. While the rug is not a perfect match for the color I needed, I feel it will balance out once I add in all of the white furniture. I am overall happy with the purchase. Hope this photo helps anyone on the fence about the color! http://i1330.photobucket.com/albums/w574/Kara_Pastrana/photo15_zpsd3228c11.jpg
The rug is a great color and a perfect size. I love the thick chenille knots in it and it gives the rug a sort of modern shag look. The back is slightly tacky so that it stays in place as well. Very easy to clean, I just shake it out - I haven't had to vacuum or spot clean it yet, so not sure how it will hold up to that. So far we love it!!! - Can't beat the price!
Very nice for the price. I had to send the first one back (Overstock made this very easy) because in one row of the designs, the inner flower outline was green (and this part seems to be chenille, not wool), whereas in the other two rows of the design, the flower outline was black. It looked like there was something defective with the green row. In my second rug, all the outlines were green, which I didn't like as well as the black, but at least it looks normal. The off-white portions are also chenille. The rest seems to be a dense wool. The rug is very pretty. The background is a nice shade of grey, but in my living room it has a slightly greenish tint, possibly because of my "granite" furniture. I like it. Of course I vacuumed several bags of wool in the first couple of weeks, but that has definitely lessened. My vacuum cleaner uses bags, so I started just pulling the wool out of the bag so that I could use it over and over. Thanks to those of you who warned about this with wool rugs; I otherwise I would have thought something was wrong.
