Square, round, and oval rugs generally cost more and are harder to find. I browsed through Overstock'e seemingly limitless collection and narrowed it down to 5 styles. It was for going under a square table so I selected a square rug because the chair legs would have caught under the rounds. I am extremely pleased. The 6 x 6 size is perfect (very few in a 6 x 6), the lightness of the color opens up a dark room, it feels good on bare feet, and the pattern is very cool: it looks like someone took a traditional pattern and threw bleach in some spots--adds a little funky vibe to a traditional pattern. I can't stop staring at my new rug!
I have a round table that seats 4 and sits on a brown tile floor. The area needed SOMETHING. That rug - the 6'7" square one - really brought the whole thing together. The colors on the one I got are very muted but it's actually perfect for the space. The price was unbelievable and I am really happy with the quality.
