Okay price. Quality not so great.
Nice chairs, even though they sit a little low, but ridiculously hard to assemble. Assembling 2 chairs should have taken 10 minutes but took a solid hour. See the picture below. Instead of angled pocket screws, they have these slots in the wood that you can't get a screwdriver into. They included Allen screws, which handled the strange angle, but because it's too tight a space to hand tighten the screws, I had to use the the Allen wrench 1/4 turn at a time for the whole job. They provided wood screws (and angled pocket screw holes) to attach the seat, but there are no markings on the seats to show if they're positioned correctly. And I had to drill pilot holes in the seats on the undersides of the seats.
The chair is sturdy, well made and for the price, by far the best option I've found in a lower profile, midcentury based design without spending a fortune. I chose the yellow with a little trepidation that the color on the computer would not match my decor. I am very happy with the color! They are quite comfortable. My one complaint is that the nap on the velvet (which is pronounced) goes front to back rather than back to front. This means when you get up from sitting the fabric looks 'scuffed' and messy. I worry a little the fabric will not wear well. Fortunately they will not be a terribly high use chair.
These are beautiful chairs and very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to make the allen key provided a little bit shorter as there are some places where it was hard to tighten. But otherwise pretty straight forward to put together, and they look fantastic.
I looked for over 6 months various sites, these were best value and exceeded my expectation. Solid wood well constructed and no wobbling. Very well protected in shipping boxes. Wide seat that will fit even larger guests.
Love them. They slide easily under my dining table and I love the half sized armrests. Easy to put together.
I am super happy with these chairs! They arrive via UPS well-packed in sturdy boxes with plenty of cushion to keep them from getting damaged. They could have had better directions (make sure you put the front cross piece with the curved side pointing UP) but it's not that difficult to fix if you do something wrong. They seem to be sturdy and light. My dining area is fairly narrow so I was looking for chairs with a smaller footprint. I think these work perfectly. I have a bench on one side (also from Overstock) so the table can stay pretty close to the wall 90% of the time. I only bought 4 chairs but I'm thinking about 2 more for "just in case" since my table has a big leaf that can be added...)
I used these chairs in my home office. They are sturdy and comfortable. Great quality and super easy to assemble. I love the modern look they add to the office space.
I am so in love with these chairs (obsessed)! They are perfect! They ended up shipping sooner than expected which is always a plus and nothing was damaged. I didn't think these were hard to put together at all. So happy!
These chairs are BEAUTIFUL! The quality and craftsmen is great. When you touch the wood it has a smooth finish feel. They are little low compared to other chairs but I still love them. I am 4' 11" and I can sit with feet crossed on these chairs.
