I gave this as a house-warming gift some time ago and the report that I received is that it is holding up well with repeated daily usageRead More
Got this as a gift for son moving into his first time apartment. It heats evenly due to the copper bottom, holds up well. Highly recommended for a beginning cook.Read More
My mother used Revere copper bottom saucepans when I was growing up, and I have used them for years as well. I wanted a more complete set than the couple of Pans I had, and wanted the traditional handle styling to match my existing ones. This set was perfect (although it meant that I have duplicates of a couple of saucepans). The quality is excellent and this set has everything you need.Read More
They came on time, great quality, no problems. We are very happy with this order!Read More
These products are the best ever. We had two pots we purchased in 1977. They remain in excellent condition. When we saw the whole set for sale, we rejoiced. We received them and we are most pleased. The frying pan is the best ever and the pot sizes are very convenient.Read More
Thirty years ago, my groom and I received a Revere copper-clad-bottom cookware set as a wedding gift. We and our kids have put all of the pieces into busy use through the years. They're still in excellent shape, with nary a nick nor a bump. As we celebrate our Pearl Anniversary, I ordered an identical set - not to replace the good old ones, heavens no! - but to furnish our anniversary gift to each other - a vacation home in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nothing but the best on this anniversary, my husband says. Now you know why we wanted another Revere set!Read More
My mother has used her copper-bottom Revere Ware for over 40 years and it's still going strong. That's why I decided to order the same set for myself. Little did I know, Revere Ware is no longer made in the U.S.A., and the workmanship has dropped considerably. These pots are so thin and light weight you can actually feel the imprint of the "Revere Ware - Made in Indonesia" stamp thru the inside bottom of each pot. Also, the copper overcoat is rough to the touch and uneven in places. The workmanship on these pots is nothing like my mother's set. I was very disappointed. Not only that, one of the plastic lids for the mixing bowl set was broken into 3 pieces before I even took it out of the box, and the 6-quart pot was so bowed on the bottom it doesn't even sit flat on my stovetop. These were obvious defects. The only saving grace was that Overstock's customer service is outstanding. They gave me the option of returning it for exchange (no thanks, I would never be able to figure out how to get it all back in the box), a $15 coupon good toward a future purchase, or $15 credit back to my account. Of course, I took the credit. But because I was so satisfied with how Overstock handled my complaint, I will definitely consider making another purchase on this website. Excellent customer service is a rare thing these days. Apparently, as rare as "Made in the U.S.A." cook ware!Read More
This Revereware is in no way like the reverewqare of old. I had some that I used for years and decided it was time to replace my old pots and pans. This looked like a good deal, however, the thickness of the pans is too thin. Each does not tolerate any pan glazing. The bottoms immediately become warped. To ues the trite cliche, "You get what you pay for." I plan to replace this Revereware with some of .good qualityRead More
I guess you get what you pay for. I am a single woman who cooks maybe 2-3 times a week, so I don't use my pots everyday. It looks like the copper was painted on the bottom. It's lightweight. I'm glad I actually had a coupon to apply otherwise I would have been completely disappointed. They certainly serve my purpose, but if you plan on using them everyday, this set is not for you.Read More
This is a good buy. The set is not as solid as the one I purchased some 25 years ago...but not much is these days. I still feel the set, purchased for my daughter's first apartment, is going to serve her immediate needs and last a good while. She can always upgrade to a more expensive set when she has a good job and has more money to spend. She learned to cook with a similar set...these are a good value for the price.Read More
