I can't believe how quickly this chair arrived, and what a great deal it was. It's a fantastic recliner for the price, and fits in well with the very expensive American Leather couch that I have. The green is more of a neutral sage green, with small black dots. A gorgeous shade that will work with just about anything. The chair is incredibly comfortable--very thickly cushioned--and reclines well. I've gotten furniture online from ***. I have to say that this experience really topped those. Still shaking my head over the price. Great buy. I agree with other reviewers of the tan version of this chair that it is probably best suited for those under 5' 10" and who aren't too wide in girth.
I purchased two of these chairs to replace some very outdated recliners (old American style) at my mother house. They are roomy in the seat and site nicely in a cramped space. They do recline way back so they must have ample clearance. The fabric is nice, but the weave is very evident. If you are looking for a smooth, solid fabric this is not the recliner for you. The colour is as shown but with a bit of tan thread in the weave. Assembly was easy and I did it by myself. I did have to open the box on the front porch and walk the pieces to the den. One leg was scratched but I repaired it with a stain stick. All nail heads were in place and well secured. The seat is firm but that will soften as they are used. Overall its a really nice chair, just looks petite in place of the bachelor recliners of old!!! Much more fitting for the space.
The chair looks nice, but is much smaller than you would imagine. The area described includes the arm rest area for total width, so the chair is very narrow. It also does not recline completely for a full back operation and only locks in the middle position. For American tastes and size, I would not recommend, unless you are a very small person, no taller than 5 ft 6 inches and 150 lbs.
