I purchased the desk with two bookcases in natural grain and white, the desk is easy to put together and comes with all the necessary hardware. It's a really nice looking desk with clean lines and is more sturdy than I anticipated. There were minor nicks in the shelves from shipping, but nothing substantial. I was able to fit one desk and bookcase side by side in my space, and they even have hardware to connect them together.

Equal quality for the price you pay. READ INSTRUCTIONS WELL or else you will do something like not insert the wooden pegs when you are supposed to, and then you need to take it apart and re-do. It helps to inspect the photos as you go to make sure you aren't putting shelves on backwards. They look great and the wooden shelves are expensive looking. There is one black piece that has a paint defect on the outside side, looks like it was leaned up against something while the paint was wet. But it's not ugly enough to warrant an exchange, and the second shelf was perfect. I did have to shave clumpy paint from the black covers for the screw holes, with a razor blade, to get them to fit in. It helps to have your own screw driver to hold the nuts in place to keep them from spinning as you put the screws in.

I bought this bookshelf because I wanted something to put in my small kitchen to hold my cookbooks and other items. I didn't want to buy a regular shelf because it was closed off and would make my kitchen appear even smaller. This shelf looks so great! It makes my kitchen look modern and very open. I have a lot of books, vases with flowers, and spices on the shelves and it's holding up very well. It does not appear to be cheap at all. The wood shelves look very nice. The shelf leans against the wall well and I have no fear of it falling down. It took about an hour to put together but was not complicated at all. I highly recommend this product to anyone!!

This is a nice sturdy piece. However the black around the edges has a slight blue tint to it, so it doesn't quite appear black, and the shelving is a ghastly orange/gold. Not at the all the "Light" or "natural" as described. Think oak from the 70's. I would return it based on the awful color but I work at a cabinet shop and I can easily have them change them out. Were it priced any higher, I wouldn't. But it's a great size and style for my space, so I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it.

I really like the design of these shelves and desk, and the size is great. I like the smaller profile (only coming out from wall about a foot), and they seem stable. Easy to put together for one person. Downside was the number of flaws on the shelves. All minor enough to live with, but a bit disappointing. A number of dark marks or smudges on the white shelves (that don’t wipe off). One shelf had a ding in it, thankfully on the back side. Two shelves look like they were not painted thoroughly, they have dark shadows from one end to another. Hoping those issues are hidden once I style the shelves; it was the only set overstock had so I didn’t want to return them. Tried to get pics of it, but lighting made it difficult.

very good shelf, and the quality is excellent. Installation is easy and fast. It is pretty stable when it lean on the wall. A bad thing is it may leave some spot on the wall.
