These dinner plates are very simple, pretty and not heavy. I have my table decorated with napkins and placemats with my plates and they are all gorgeous togethers.
About one year ago, I purchased locally two Red Vanilla 8.75" Bone China Entree Plates, TC000-209, and continue to be delighted with them. Since I only have two and occasionally drop things on the floor, I decided to buy two more. At present it seems possible only to buy four, and they were very hard to find, so I did. Well, Red Vanilla seems to have decided to save money by making these plates thinner and shallower than the original. Are they awful? Hardly. They are certainly usable. But the originals are really great -- no comparison actually except the material and the diameter seem to be the same. If I had seen in a store what arrived at my doorstep today, I would have kept looking, but it isn't likely the original plate is still available. Overstock.com was very helpful in tracking my order, as it was delayed. I wouldn't hesitate to order something from them again.
These white plates are just as pictured! They are not bulky and fit great in cabinet or dishwasher. Prefer the size over a typical large dinner plate.
I love the Red Vanilla rimmed series. The entree plate is a convenient size - when a dinner plate is too much but a salad plate is too little. It is fairly small still, but it does have its use.
Perfect plates for everyday use. Lightweight and durable. Priced accordingly. This is my go to for everyday use, while I purchased Euro Ceramica Fez 16 Piece Crackle-Glaze Double Bowl Dinnerware Set for special occasions.
