Pur by Bestar 115-inch Queen Wall Bed Kit

It only took 2 guys about 5hrs to assemble; good instructions, all the right parts. However, there were several knicks & scratches in the chocolate laminate revealing the press board underneath that I now have to try & conceal somehow. That was a bummer, I was so looking forward to it! Still sleeps great & we love the extra storage on each side for our cabin.

Love it!! I purchased it for my spare bedroom. Wasn’t to hard to put together. My husband is a handy man so he had no problems. I also helped when I could. 9 boxes total. Very heavy. Great quality.

This bed looks classy and is perfect for our basement. We had to modify it to work with our 85.5 inch ceiling height. We did away with the top trim piece above the bed and also cut about a quarter inch off the bottom. We installed it vertical in place because there wasn’t enough ceiling height to tilt it up. The bookcases fit perfect with no modification other than we did have to modify the one on the right to fit under our furdown which is about 78 inches tall. The bookcases are built in two sections (the bottom section with the drawers and the top half with the shelves), so they were very easy to modify. We aren’t completely done and plan to add trim pieces on the sides, but we love it so far.

I searched high and low for the perfect Murphy bed for my office/guest room. After weeks of searching, I finally found it on Overstock. The entire packaged (bed and storage units) was over 800 lbs. So it was very heavy, but worth the effort, as the bed and storage are very sturdy. Putting the bed and storage unit took some time (~4 hours by one person). The trickiest part was installing the spring loader. The instruction manual wasn’t as clear, as a result, we found a video on YouTube that showed the steps and wha-la, we got it done in 10 minutes! Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. The bed looks great in the office, very space efficient and fully functional to accommodate guests, when needed. See attached pictures. Love it!!

First the good. The wall bed was packaged well and the unit is very solid when put together and was well worth the price. The reason for the 3 stars are as follows: First, the left door on the central unit that holds the door, the pre drilled holes on the back were drilled upside down. I had to re drill the bracket holes (they do not go completely through the door). I also had to drill new handle holes. The pre drilled holes end up on the bottom of the door as they go completely through. We will end up putting texture on the doors to cover the holes. The second issue was the screws provided for the door handles are to long. I tightened the screw to much and it ended up pushing the nut out of the handle and became stuck on the screw. I had to cut the screw off. When installing these screws be sure to use washers to shorten the part of the screw going into the handle.
