  • Proctor Silex 17202 Clothes Iron

Heats up quickly, irons smoothly (it's brand new, I would hope it would), does what it's designed to do. I like that it isn't very heavy like some "swank" new models. It's a Proctor Silex - they make good products. 'Nuff said.

I needed just an average iron but this one more than exceeds. For the price, it works very well. Llight weight, heats up quickly: my dream iron!

  • good buy
    Verified Purchase

This little iron is a good buy. It is very light weight, but the ironing plate is small. I find it fine for clothes and average size items , but would want a larger ironing surface for big items such as curtains. I don't use the steam option, as I prefer using a spray bottle, but the temperature settings work well for silk, synthetics and cotton/linen. It suits my needs.
