  • shot rust all over a favorite shirt, Yahoo?

Seemed really neat, teflon face and everything - thought that would mean good protection. Probably does. But from rust shooting out, not even a slick teflon face can fend off that. This fine 'made in China' baby is, well, like things made in China: typically of poor to extremely poor quality, they can also ruin things you value. ...like in this case, a favorite shirt. The mfr's decision to use whatever they decided to use in the steam mechanism created some rust and that ejected onto, drumroll, the face of my shirt. You don't want that, skip this model.

I am an admitted wrinkle freak and I wanted my own iron to deal with my condition. This was an affordable iron that meets my criteria beautifully and I am most happy with it!

Don't like to iron, but some things just need to be. This iron is light weight enough so I don't feel tired from doing a necessary job. Happy with purchase.
