Got this item is my FIRST O'Stock Purchase. I am VERY comfortable ordering stuff via ONLINE and have done so for years (being an e-Commerce WebStore Consultant - what good is it that I cannot PRACTISE WHAT I PREACH& SELL) The best surprise was the its nice to deal with O'Stock Customer Service personal - as I had ONE Small part missing ( not sellers fault) However they sent me WHOLE NEW SET and I returned the first set without any issues. The product is on paper perfect match for the specs-wise for my use (Sailboat wash down & House desk washing etc) without blowing holes into things. The Instant shut-off is working well in the unit; but have READ LOTS OF REVIEWS that's seems say it wont last. The Washer has only ONE NOZZEL so limited 'spray' patterns. But its ok for my use. Added bonus is the CAR WASHING attachment - that is handy for adding scum-remover for decks and barnacles'!
I recently purchased this unit after my old one bit the dust. I must say I am impressed with this little machine! Pros: - Relatively quiet - Powerful - Fast, easy set up - Light enough to carry and move around - Includes a brass fitting to connect the garden hose, which is very sturdy and does not leak. - Very long power cable and pressure hose. I no longer need to use an extension cord as I did with my old pressure washer. - The oscillating nozzle tip has so much pressure! It actually makes cleaning the deck fun. Beware: it will remove loose paint and anything in its path! Cons: - The pressure hose is easy to install but the connections become really tight, making it difficult to disassemble when storing the unit . I gave up on that and just roll the hose over the handle on top. Easy. - The wheels pop into place (vs being on an axle) and so while they do roll, they resist a bit when trying to roll the unit. No problem - with the long hose, you rarely have to move it anyway. - It does not have built in spools to hide the hose and power cord for storage. My old machine had two hidden spools like the one on top of this machine, one for the power cord and one for the pressure hose, that were easy to use with no dis-assembly required. While this unit does have a spool for the pressure hose, you would have to separate the hose from the unit in order to use it. Overall, I am very happy with this machine. So far I have used it to wash my truck and to clean the entire front porch of a log cabin, including walls and ceiling. I kind of expected the oscillating nozzle to fail, after reading some reviews, but so far it has held up (over 10 hours of use). I hope it lasts, because it is what really makes this machine so powerful. The other nozzle settings work well but do not have nearly as much pressure, except for the straight "jet" setting.
I'll start by saying that I bought this because I was sick of my 3000 psi gas pressure washer constantly having problems. I love the high pressure of the 3000 psi gas model, but having it into the repair shop 6 times in 2 years has left me pretty frustrated. I don't use the washers often, but the once or twice a month I might need one means it needs to work. I looked at the high PSI electrics one and they are pricey (like, over $$$$) pricey. Not what I was looking to do, so I read a bunch of reviews and ended up with this one as a "mid level electric". At 2000 psi, it's decent. Up close with the 15 degree or 0 degree tip, it will strip old paint and remove deep down grime. It's easy to handle, love the instant start and the wand is comfortable and easy to use. I wish there was a holder built in to hold the house and electric (the little nub on the side is useless), but I made it work by just piling them onto the top handle. That said, one big reason this didn't get 5 stars: It was missing the hose between the wand and the unit! No where in the box. I called the manufacturer and they're sending me a new one, but I ended up just buying one from a big box store (As the one from my gas washer didn't fit). Other than having to spend this extra $$ (because I needed the washer right away), I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm looking to save my pennies for one of the high end electric ones next, as I was that impressed with my first foray into this mid end electric.
