I LOVE LOVE LOVE this iron! It is so perfect, I would recommend it to any one that irons and if they do not iron yet.. they need to start with this iron!
This is the "BEST" iron that I have ever purchased. It deserves 5 stars for it's soothe and flat surface presses and glides over my clothing better than the dry cleaners. The Professional steam system dosn't leave my cloths wet and damp, but dry and well pressed. This Iron is a MUST purchase in all homes!
I am a longtime fan of pressing tools from Rowenta (my first Rowenta iron/steamer was purchased while I was attending fashion school-and lasted years!). This iron’s ergonomic design makes it real easy to use, plus the Auto-Steam thermostat helps make pressing different types of fabrics=easy breezy. (so far has been spot-on giving accurate and consistent temperatures). Another plus is how it works super well when steam pressing (and when dry pressing, too). Another biggie--the irons pointed tip fis great when pressing into tight corners. In my opinion this iron is distributing steam evenly. Also I have only used tap-water (mostly for convenience) and can report we’ve had had ZERO problems. The self clean feature is cool. Quality at a good price can be tough--but this is a great iron, works like the pros--and gets 5 stars. Oh and one last thing-NO leaking when pressing my delicates (yay). I will be happy to answer any questions you may have, feel free to ask in the Q& A below
I was looking for this exact steam iron when I saw it on overstock at about $100 less. Overstock had two listings for the same product: one at the average price internet and one about $80-100 cheaper. The steam iron press arrived looking like it had been dragged behind the delivery truck the entire way. Customer service was very responsive and professional and when I askedmm said the sale was not on damaged, open box, or returned steam irons. They sent out a replacement right away as this is a Christmas gift. They advised me to put the original one outside for the delivery service to pick up. I put it on my porch and about a week later I saw that the steam iron press had been moved to in front of my garage. The box was so damaged, it looked original to the first one. I checked the shipping label for the date and it was a new date, and it was new. Thinking a new delivery label had been slapped on an old box, I went to the porch to see if the same press was just going around my house in circles or if it was new. Nope, it's a new shipment, just torn up in nearly identical ways with tape peeled up and resealed on the sides on both. The only difference is the new one has a deeper gouge in the front of the box. Seeing that I have never had packages delivered in this shape from other companies and that a different item I ordered from overstock arrived without a damaged box, I'm thinking that the reason there was a $100 decrease in price and two separate listings for the item on the website makes this an open box, damaged packaging or returned version. The website didn't list it as such and the customer rep said it wasn't. After a merry-go-round of presses around my house, I decided that I would explain to my mom why her gift looked so bad and hope that it isn't damaged inside. Beware of two separate listings for the same exact item with one being so much less. If it was a sale, wouldn't there only be one listing, just with a reduced price showing? I will see if my mom will accept the item. Seeing that these things heat up to a very high temperature, a damaged press could be dangerous.
