I was excited to see this, it fit my room, and it was very soft, but walking on it left a distinct white cast that almost looked dusty. I did a quick vacuum and found that the vacuum marks also left distinct white shadows across the rug. On close inspection, the color of the rug was only on the top 5% of the carpet piling across much of the rug. It was returned and I was promptly refunded.
The manufacturer only dyed about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch of the top of the microfiber rug fibers. Every time you step on it and move the fibers around, it shows a white trail area where the die doesn't go down into the carpet. I am very disappointed in this area rug. Who would ever dye just the very top of the fibers????
Great carpet! Colors were exactly as?I imagined. The only thing is there were absolutely NO washing instructions ANYWHERE. THAT was disappointing since it was advertised as machine washable.
We only needed this as a runner, and looks great between our couch and coffee table. Our dogs are getting older and having bare floors can make jumping up on the couch more challenging. This has helped. Very soft pile. Would purchase in other sizes.
I was a bit skeptical about purchasing a rug online without seeing or feeling the texture in person. We received it in a timely manner. The rug has a soft texture. Really like the pile of the rug as well. Love the design. The rug brightens up the living room.
