Excellent support and beautiful; just what I was looking for.
These seemed great when I got them nearly a year ago. Heavy, durable, pretty. But now that I've lived with them for almost a year, they're an albatross. They're HEAVY. We've had so many injuries in the house from the chairs dragging then skidding onto feet. Use only with steel towed boots. They're TALL in the back. Nearly every day someone either smacks their elbow or bumps into them with a cup of hot coffee. They're not waterproof. We are not a short family either. But not tall enough for these chairs. The back of the chairs feature these curls. This is the deadly part that keeps hitting everyone. They left these godawful handles so you can drag this Goliath around but unless you live in a palace with 45 feet behind these chairs, your walls and elbows are forfeit. It has dug holes into walls, swept items off shelves on the regular, and slammed into cabinets causing dents. There are no children here. Only older adults. No one is being rough. These chairs are just inherently destructive. We thought they were a good deal because they are metal and sturdy. But we've paid for them over again in damages. The cushion doesn't hold up either. Extremely cheap pleather that didn't hold up to my cat, who has his nails trimmed regularly. So they weren't even sharp. It still dug deep trenches into the fabric. So if you're looking for decorative chairs and injuries to guests these are your best bet.
These are beautiful chairs, and super sturdy. They are large (which is great for larger people), but that means they take up more space, so be aware of that before you buy. The recommendation was for two people to put together but I managed on my own with patience and extra time.
Just the right chairs for our multi-use island. They added the extra seating we need when friends and family visit. Well constructed. Easy assembly.
Nice barstools for a nice elegant look in your family room, living room or kitchen/dinning area. The colors are nice to match earth tone decor.
We love our new Aberdeen Counter stools. They are a good size for normal bums and quite comfortable. They are a bit of a challenge to put together, but it takes a little patience and it is fine. All pieces were included. We got two and are very happy.
I received my big and tall stamp armed counter chair! I am very impressed with it. It is high quality and well made!. There is step by step directions how to put it to geather. This chair is very comfortable. Also stylish and beautiful it gose well with anything. I would recommend this Powell big and armed chair to anyone.
I have been using this chair in our home studio office space because I wanted a big chair for our studio. The chair is very tall, feels sturdy. The back rest is high enough to support your back. What I didn't like about it was the assembly. It took a long time and my husband needed my help to hold certain pieces in place. If we had wanted a set and had to assemble multiple chairs it would of been a major pain. The copper color on the arms can scratch easily if you aren't being careful but for the most part it is seems like it's a decent quality chair, just not easy to assemble.
I recently got my Powell-Big & Tall Stamp Armed Counter Stool. It is very easy to assemble and comes with very detailed and clear instructions.it's a little heavy but looks very beautiful. It's the perfect size not too tall and too small. I love it.
This is a great chair for my countertop. Easy to put together and sits just right in my kitchen. Will be looking for more to go around my island countertop for my guest. Hope if not in store that its online for a great deal.
