Nice Choices and Serves the Purpose
Great price, well represented. They are nicely serving the purpose in our small downtown flat where mobility and space are key. Wish the base was a little more heavy duty but if it were, they may be harder to move around? The leather arm rests are actually sleeves that slide on and off the chrome pole should you desire. We took ours off to get more of the chrome look. Good stools, easy to assemble but just read the brief assembly instructions, left one of the shipping guard pieces on the hydraulic mechanism and had to take it apart and remove the piece so it would work properly. Had I read the instruction versus thinking I knew what I was doing I wouldn't have had to take the extra step of taking it apart to get it right. Typical guy thinking I could handle it without the instructions :-)

Look nice but poor quality
These stools are nice looking but the leatherette started to peel on all 3 of the stools I bought after 3 months. I was shocked at the poor quality. My kids used them daily to have their meals at the bar and I did clean them a few times with a damp cloth, which I don't think is in any way misusing them. They're just poor quality and possibly more intended for decorative purposes. In any case, I was very pleasantly impressed by Overstock when they sent me three replacement pieces free of charge. Unfortunately, I still have to leave a poor review in order to warn potential buyers that the quality is subpar.

Attractive and comfortable
Bought these barstools to go with a pub table I bought. They not only look great but they are so comfortable. They feel sturdy and do not tip over. They are easy to assemble. I would certainly recommend these barstools

Too small
These stools have a very short seat so when you sit your legs hang far off the front. There just isn't enough room for an adult (or even a teenager) to sit comfortably.

Overall quite happy with the purchase. It is quite space efficient and fits the decor of our kitchen perfectly. I would highly recommend these barstools.
