LOVE!
I purchased 5 sets of the grey (10 stools) for my home bar. LOVE them. Very comfortable and go along with the trendy decor. Extremely easy to assemble. I love bar stools that swivel, because they are easier to get in and out of if someone is already sitting next to you. I love the fact that I purchased ones that also raise and lower because they will be raised at the bar, but if my kids need extra seating in their game room they can borrow them and lower them to a normal height so no one topples over (or breaks the stools). I realized this was also a plus if I had a big party where I needed to serve food from the bar. I can lower the stools and place them elsewhere so people can sit to eat without sitting in front of the food. I originally purchased backless ones for this reason, but I changed my mind on the color and purchased these instead.

I'm not sure why these have such high rating. I just got mine yesterday and I'm a little disappointed. Overall a nice look but the quality is low. The bottom round section that sits on the floor is not metal, it's a hard plastic. It doesn't says this anywhere in description. I think over time this will weaken and break. We just moved into a new home so for the price I might keep them for now. We have lots of other expenses that come with a new home, then we can get better ones later on.

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I searched endlessly for a good deal on good chairs. I ordered six total (4 black, 2 white) although only needing 5. They are the right height for my custom breakfast bar. I put all six together in less than 30 minutes by myself. So far, they are comfortable, with a high end look. The white is bright & stands out. Shipping time was impressive as I received them a day earlier than stated (less then a wk from order placement). I'm considering ordering more 4 my husband's man cave in the basement. By far a good value! I'm storing them in my basement until the counter tops arrive for the breakfast bar

Use the handle to adjust. If it's not working, make sure the black cap is removed from the hydraulic when assembling the chair.
