The stool weighs quite a bit and is cumbersome to move around. Not recommended for carpeted surfaces. Otherwise it seems solid. Had to return it because it wasn't high enough to reach the countertop.
Sturdy yet space saving to fold up and put in closet. Good padding seats and back rest - comfortable seats love them !
Bought for family member for Christmas and they like the chairs. Gives them extra chairs for company around the dining table! Ordering was easy and they arrived in a timely manner around the holidays.
This is my second order of this chair because I liked the first ones I bought. They are comfortable, sturdy and take up less space in storage.
Great chairs, nice and sturdy. Have them hanging in kitchen for use with a folding table I made. Folding table is expresso color with silver folding brackets.
I got this stool to have stored for extra guests. It folds up nicely and is a good quality chair. I fits in well with the other chairs around the table and doesn't give off folding chair vibes.
These are sturdy and look great as extra chairs. Wouldn't know they were folding by looking at them.
These chairs arrive in a box that you pull them out of and unfold them. That's it. They are sturdy. The legs are expresso colored with an undertone of red. The seats are more black than dark brown but they are stylish. The reason for 4 stars is that one of them is very uneven. The metal folding mechanism may have been put in a bit off kilter. When you sit on the chair, it doesn't act as if it isn't level (as if you need to put something under one leg to steady it). We may see if it can be replaced. The other chair arrived level. They look nice and the back is high enough to be supportive but not too high to distract from the line of sight into the adjoining room. You might want to put something on the bottom of the legs as they are just the flat wood. A plastic hammer-in leg protector or something like a felt piece would soften the wear on the legs. UPDATE: Having had these for a couple of months, I can say that they are sturdy and of above average construction. We were able to send back the very uneven chair for a new one. The new one was a bit wobbly (less than the last one) but using them has made it quite a bit more even as if they are settling in and the wobble is not there while sitting on them. I really love these chairs.
Great higher comfortable folder chairs
This folding counter height stool lives up to the great reviews! Have 3 stools at kitchen counter for dining spots but if a 4th place needed (usually for the hostess!), but this fold away stool will be perfect for me to join in comfortably seated instead of standing or seated elsewhere. I will welcome this attractive option and am so pleased to have found it since it can be stored away conveniently as well. Sturdily built, not terrific padding as our regular stools but if needed, a flat cushion could be added if needed.
