I love the look of this chair. I really did not buy it for comfort, however. It is quirky and cute. The arms were not so easy to fasten. The screws kept coming loose. I had to add wood scraps and glue to the holes for the screws to stay tight. I still really enjoy this chair.

These chairs are the masterpiece of my living room, absolutely 2 of the most unique pieces of furniture I have. I am so happy with these chairs, they look expensive and are very well made. Putting them together is a 1 person job, max of 15 minutes. The fabric is very nice quality and so is the wood and black finish. The seat is firm, but not uncomfortable. I would highly recommend these, no other furniture store has anything like these.

  • Not comfy but wonderfully funky!

I bought two of these chairs because they were so odd and distinctive looking. They are bigger than I had imagined them to be, but that's only because i'm no good at envisioning volume from measurements. I LOVE these chairs! They are hard as rocks to sit on, but i have them in my living room and no one sits in there for long, so i don't mind that they are not comfy. They are "lookers" and fit right in with the rest of my extremely ecclectic decor. They work very well for the space because it is far longer than it is wide, and couches are not a good option in the room, but big chairs and oddball medium ones like this are great. They are truly ecclectic inasmuch as their shape is without precedent; their stain is ebony but with the dashes of red; their upholstery is contemporary but their frames are a tad ornate/organic. These chairs could sit next to a Victorian settee as well as an uber modern Italian divan. They're great!
