I am very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a chair for my living room that didn't have too large of a presence as I live in a small apartment. This fit the bill very nicely. I also like that it's a chair that I think could be used in so many areas of the house - it'd be great in the corner of a bedroom, or a reading nook, or anywhere that you need a chair that has a bigger presence than a kitchen chair, but smaller than a typical side chair. It is also quite low to the ground which is an asset if you're trying to choose items that wont chop up your space. I had been a bit worried that the materials would look cheap (maybe have some ugly veneer or something), but they don't they look great. It's molded plywood. If you like the mid-century modern style you'll be very happy with this chair. The only downside I have for this chair was to do with the assembly. While I don't mind assembling the chair, there were two issues that came up. 1) There were no instructions included in the package. That was pretty annoying, buy by Googling for pictures and trial and error I figured it out. 2) One of the screws provided does not fit. It's just a smidgen too short. (And yes, I am positive that i have the screw in the right place.) I need to contact Overstock to see if i can get a replacement screw, but haven't got around to it yet. Oh, and a second downside...while Googling for pictures to help with assembly I found the same chair for $40 cheaper on****, and they had additional colours. C'est la vie!
